Is there someone who has the R9 270 and had success trying to mine with the Wolf0's miner? Huh

I decided to revive this thread and was wondering what's happening with wolf miner that we can't run on windows?

The miner has been reported working multiple times both on windows and linux, so the issue must be related to some "library": maybe the driver or amd sdk.
I know that Wolf0 is working on it but he's having a hard time cause he, ohgodagirl, me and others have never been able to reproduce the issue.

Is the AMD SDK needed on Windows 10 to run the Wolf0's miner?

I really hate these Proof of Work mining discussion threads.

Could we move these lenghty hardware and configuration discussions elsewhere and only keep here the real dev talk that will bring actual value to ESP.
Agree..
We should have a topic in "mining" board just to solve those problems. let keep this one clean.

There already have one thread, but let's face it remove what's related to mining in this thread and it will become too quiet so....

I know that it is hard to speculate future prices, but do any of the Dev's have an idea of what they feel is the value of each coin? When all features are rolled out is it possible to reach a certain amount of satoshis or is it aiming higher that that?

Their standard answer is that they don't care about the price, so don't bother asking them for an answer.

In any case the market decides prices not individuals (even the devs) unless those individuals are whales with a lot of cash to burn to control prices.

In my opinion price in single digit sat is possible if development continues but it will take a while. Right now there is no reason to buy esp except for speculation as no services are yet tied to it and no innovation is implemented.

Such things are of course in the roadmap, but for now they are only promises. I am not selling my giveaway and I am not buying either. Just wait and see.

Dont care about price is ok.
But how about tell us what they are doing?

nothing. only promises as you said

It's not about proof of work, we are trying to help each other.

Can somebody help me with the error i'm getting in Wolf0's miner  Huh
no errors - it`s working (hw`s are still present, but who cares...)

What's your configuration?
What did you install before the miner?
What's your GPU?
What's the OS running the miner?
win7 x64/hd7970(6gpus)/15.12catalyst
-w 64 -g 1 (-g 2 makes much more HWs/Rej)

Could you share which sgminer did you used for this? Thanks a lot
What's the "HW" on the image?

Hardware errors = nonces returned as valid by the gpu but which fail the cpu test.
Thank you Smiley

i almost want to fud this coin so less miners but i wont give in to that, these devs have produced a viable non asic coin that is much simpler to set up with great speed and have done work with many other coins. you can't get upset because of a pushed back deadline the coin is in alpha invest accordingly.

hehehe what a trollster.

Looks like I got here late. Price is pretty low so I think I'm going to pick up some ESP for myself  Smiley

I didn't want to go through 300+ pages of text. Are the devs still fairly active here?

Still very active. Lots of fud lately though. Mainly from some namecoin bag holder that bought a whole bunch before the big dump and is now trying to pump it to recover any losses.
