How can I mine in linux?

If you compile the gui or daemon directly from the github source you can mine using either in wallet miner or external miner that will also need to be compiled. Where as the internal does not
I have't gui in linux. Only CLI.

Just type 'setgenerate true N'  where N is numbers of cores what you involved to mine.
Can you write more how i can it? Where can I get miner?

You want to mine with Linux on local machine or use cores to mine in external windows wallet?
Want to mine per pool.

Use any cpuminer with arguments
-a quark -o POOLADDRESS -u name -p pass

Espers is not quark algo! in the miner you are probably using it only shows that since it was hacked and made for HMQ1725.
Using quark only gives you lot of noooo!! and will ban you from pool.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14542985 https://esp.suprnova.cc/
https://esp.maxminers.net/index.php?page=gettingstarted
so, if quark is wrong algo please write how it need   Grin Grin Grin Grin

As i said in that specific miner, quark is replaced with HMQ1725 algo, only the name quark was left, because i guess it was easier/faster to do like that.
If you donwload any other miner and try to use quark, you will fail. it simply does not work.

This should work.

sudo apt-get update -y
sudo apt-get -y install git automake gcc g++ libcurl4-openssl-dev libssl-dev make

git clone https://github.com/ocminer/cpuminer-hmq1725
cd cpuminer-hmq1725/
./autogen.sh
./configure --with-crypto --with-curl
make

please take note of the   " hmq1725 "   this is the algo used for this coin!

are you using debian ? ubuntu? slackware? knoppix? what flavor are you using?
did you compile and install globally or did you leave it in the folder where you compiled it?
what is the actuall command you use to launch you cli?
what kind of processor are you using and how many cores would you like to dedicate to mine with?

are you using debian ? ubuntu? slackware? knoppix? what flavor are you using?
Ubuntu, centos.

did you compile and install globally or did you leave it in the folder where you compiled it?
Where can i get sources of miner?

what is the actuall command you use to launch you cli?
-

what kind of processor are you using and how many cores would you like to dedicate to mine with?
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5690 @ 3.47GHz

are you using both centos and ubuntu ? and the same processor for both of them? 2 machines?
did you compile the CLI and install it globally or leave it in the folder you compiled it in?
and again what is the actuall command you use to launch your CLI?
i am not talking about having you mine on the pool as you would have to compile and launch the miner from the commandline also but if your having problems using the CLI   *CLI = command line interface for your daemon. therefore it would also launch your inwallet miner if it was compiled alongside you cli?

are you using both centos and ubuntu ? and the same processor for both of them? 2 machines?
No. Different machines.

did you compile the CLI and install it globally or leave it in the folder you compiled it in?
I am not compile yet.

and again what is the actuall command you use to launch your CLI?
I did not understand the question.
have you ever compiled a daemon before using linux?

If GPUs were mining it, the network hash wouldn't be 33 MH/s man >_<

Also basic math for you.

33,515 / 322 = 104 KH/s

Which is about an average i5 K overclocked CPU mining it.

*math*

Just got a newbie miner into ESP! Mate at work was interested in my mining, never even heard of it before, but after talking about Espers for almost an hour he was straight onto his phone looking up the thread to start mining. You guys have a great project here, keep up the good work!  Smiley
