I know it is your project and your idea but seriously 500 Billions is way too much in these days people will just look to sell
as soon as there is an opportunity especially miners. Give some value to your Coin and not just some Features that probably none
will even notice.

Of course you don't HAVE to

, these updates are NOT mandatory but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The new updates just make it easier to mine and are more secure / intuitive.
