I think this is necessary to have such service like Etherscan for monitoring ESS coins supply, movement etc. For example Tomoochain (which launched their mainnet few days ago) also have such srvice (Tomoscan).
If they are not ready for mainnet (not all services are ready) may be they must postpone with 1 month or so with mainnet launch? because everything must works like a sharm.

This is really strange. For over half of year they cant update current information on CMC. We will be able to check total and current coins after mainet launch? I mean, they cant scam us and create more coins than current number of tokens?

Hey there, at this time here are the current details from the team are:

"As the Essentia mainnet release is getting closer each day, atomic swap starts looming on the horizon as well. To make sure the process goes without a hitch, we are going to make it possible to switch your ESS tokens to ESS coins within the Essentia Desktop program. More information on the swap will be announced shortly."

With regards to whether the swap is only available on the desktop app, I would recommend waiting for an official update from the team on this issue. The team has not said that the main net is not on track to be launched by Q4 this year, and there is still a few weeks left - so there is no reason to suggest that they could not deliver it in time

For exchanges - i don't think this would require needing approval from exchanges, as I'm sure that the exchanges that ESS is listed on would be more than happy to support the team when the token swap takes place.

In fact, until the end of 4Q there are not many. 
Has it been agreed before? Will there be agreements with exchanges that support swap. I think it is not necessary. Swap can be without the participation of exchangers.

So the swap of token will be available only in their deckstop wallet? Why they dont giving any instructions or commentaries about token swap while just only 2 weeks left for this year (when maiinet is was planned in Q4). Why no agreement with exchanges which supporting swap? other projects announcing this before released date...

Same. But I am calm with ESS, because ESS is not the only one who loses value. This is like a time when we need to fill our bag. The price may be more or less, but the most important thing is the development of the project and its functionality.
