i have not yet tried desktop application, i will soon, once my pc is upgraded! i'm still waiting for android app, it will be more conformable for me to run android app.what is the release date for mobile app?

Essentia is developed by a team with a great experience in the blockchain. They have a unique view of their product and well-thought-out plan realization. Everyone will find that what them needed. This project definitely will be one of the most successful.

In particular, they are preparing for the mainnet launch in Q4 and have released an overview of the consensus model the Essentia blockchain will adopt, a hybrid mix of both POS and POW. Yes so be it, let it be the last day of the Q4. The main thing is for this to happen. Compared with other projects that stretch for the second year, the guys in this team work quite efficiently. I do not want to praise much, just continue.

The team has recently published their September monthly update. One of the updates included the development of the IOS/Android app. Here are some of the features that have been implemented so far.
- Bitcoin and Ethereum wallets added
- Login functionality added: now possible to login using a mnemonic phrase, seed or keystore file.
- Multiple languages and currencies added.
- Switching between accounts with one click

The team has also published an article that discusses the launch of the mainnet where they discuss their plans to implement a Hybrid Consensus, supplemented by an enhanced voting mechanism in PoS, PoW, and Shards. With “database in memory” architecture for PoS consensus, Essentia will be able to significantly increase TPS frequency. The team is continuing to move forward.
