Hello PPL,

I have question.

I bough on pre-sale some ETHEREUM and i forgot about it for months. Now i try to find my json file but i think i lost it for forever. I dont even remember on which email i registered. I try recover all my old email addresses because i read somewhere that ETHEREUM sent also these file to email used for rergistration. Is that true? Did they send? Or it was available only for download?

Regards

(i hope my english is enough to understand:))

Ethereum will now start to get a ton more media coverage, which will lead to more price gains. Augur will be huge. Market cap will exceed BTC by the end of the year.

I think it can overtake BTC's market cap too.
And I'm not afraid it will hurt BTC at all.

My prediction:

Ik gooi even een flinke knuppel in het hoenderhok:

De prijs van ETH:

1 maart 2016: 7$
1 april 2016: 18$
1 juli 2016: 45$
1 januari 2017: 120$
1 januari 2018: 400$
1 januari 2019: 1200$

We may overshoot my april 1 prediction.
who knows
i think we are near to 0.04
thank eth

I am wondering if Bitcoin gradually ceases to be relevant…

You'll stop wondering when Etherium bubble pops.

Its not a bubble, its a computer

and Bitcoin is a calculator
Computers are hackable. Calculators aren't.
Bitcoin is money. Ethers aren't.

After this big spike price will slowly go down and the stabilize. I think about the big btc pump, could happen the same here Smiley

Personally, I think Bitcoin is here to stay but so is Ethereum.
Microsoft is the first of many corporations who will embrace Ethereum and once the network has a multitude of dapps running it will be extremely difficult for these companies to embrace another new technology.

I am tempted to get onto this pump.  Cheesy   Good one after CRAVE. We need such volume to bring back the alt game.

If the Ethereum price stays about 0.02 for the next 6 months, will people still think it is a bubble?

Let's wait 6 month then. I bought a few ETH just in case :-P But I also believe the bubble will pops soon or later.

I think now is a bad time to buy now. No altcoin has ever seen a rise like bitcoin.
Most (look at DASH) go up in a pump and then go back to their normal level.

ETH is not just an altcoin.

Most altcoins are different branches, originating from Bitcoin.

Ethereum is built from scratch and can run DAPPS.

I expect it to rise for a long period, with some small dumps now and then.

Ethereum marketcap is bigger than all altcoins combined together.

Why everyone keeps believing this is just a bubble? I guess people are blind and don't see the forest from the trees in front of them. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that Bitcoin is screwing up while Ethereum is inventing on the daily basis. People are just diversifying, nothing else.
The ones who believe this a bubble are mostly the ones who didn't invest in Ethereum, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Ethereum never wanted to be money

With respect, Ethereum doesn't want things, just as a blockchain doesn't want things. Ethereum can function in many ways and its users decide upon how they want to use it. Utilisation as a currency is one such use. Ethereum has a unitary value and can be traded for things just like money. When POS comes in, holders of Ethereum will be rewarded with units of value (interest) i.e. currency (money).

Money is stored up energy. So too is fuel. Ether is the crypto-fuel of the Ethereum network. It was designed to be used as money e.g. it is used to pay the members of the network for the resources they consume (mining). This payment aspect confirms that one of Ethereum's 'wanted' uses is to function as money and it was a 'wanted' design feature that it could function in such a way.

Granted, Ethereum is capable of much more, but to function as money is one of Ethereum's intended design capabilities. I know other competing cryptos would like to obscure its use as money, but Ethereum is used as money. Further, it is listed as a currency on the Crypto-Currency Market Capitalizations' website and is second only to Bitcoin in its valuation as a currency.
