I was expecting a more refined product when launched.  I personally had no issues installing and running the client on both linux and windows but this is about as far from user friendly as you can get for the average user.  This seem light years away from any mainstream use.  I find this project interesting and would like to see it succeed but I'm sure that many peoples expectations have not been met.  It seems that people have been waiting a long time for what at first glance seems to be an unfinished product.

agreed, its still early days but it deffo has potential

When you compare ethereum with ltc market cap you realise ethereum is very cheap for what it can do compared with ltc

hey guys. when i load alethzero client i recieve the following which is different to my friends yet i have done the exact same... does anyone know whats wrong?

EDIT: also when the client is online (clicked go) whenever i click the client gui it does not respond for a few seconds

I agree. There is no reason why it should be 10 cents even atm. The ethereum networks utility is still highly theoretical. Plus, computational cycles need to be super cheap in the beginning if ethereum is to gain traction. People need to fiddle about with it for some months, for that to happen they need to be able to afford it as well.

Where there is PoW there is miners dumping to get into btc, I think this is where the issue will be.

i really dont think this will see 10cents. i do think there will be a drop in price however.

People that were buying over $2 a coin are absolutely nuts, this coin is still a few years away from being really ready. I will wait until the price is 10 cent before I make my first purchase.

Ethereum deposits are delayed 24 hrs from 2015-08-07 03:50 UTC per dev request. The developers may rollback the chain up to 24 hours in case of an issue. As a result, the developers asked all exchanges to wait 5760 confirms (24 hours) to credit ETH deposits in case the chain is rolled back.

Dev can rollback without consensus from users ?

I believe the price must fall below the ICO price at least once due to weak hands and impatient newbies cashing out. Then, to the moon !
