If I have to switch from Ethereum to anything else, I will switch to Bitcoin, not Ethereum Classic.

Ain't those two totally different things? You hold bitcoin as you'd hold gold, as a store of value for the future, but you buy Ethereum to use it in DAPPs.

That's the problem! If you buy ethereum you should use it and not hold it as store of value because there is better store of value. Ethereum and every other altcoin with specialized functions has future only as a bitcoin sidechain. Ethereum as a standalone blockchain is dead.

Which new blockchains do you think will replace Ethereum and become a leader? As I see almost all of new projects are the copies of Ethereum (may be except DAG based projects)

If we leave speculation outside, Ethereum is probably the most useful blockchain at the moment with Bitcoin being close second... Not many stores accept BTC so it's not as much useful as Ethereum with its many games.
It's just that with the more apps being developed, the slower and more expensive it gets.
Like people from ARK put it, "it's like putting more and more cars on a single road with a limited amount of lines"!

Ethereum Classic was a decent effort, but people should accept it when a project fails and let it die.

Ethereum Classic looks more likely as projects on abandoned roads. Sometimes, that project suddenly bumped along the road with sudden news on their partnership, developments, upgrades, but I don't think Ethereum Classic is more actively developed than Ethereum. In addition, future growth is more promising with Ethereum, rather than Ethereum Classic. I don't say it simply based on prices of Ethereum and Ethereum Classic, but also by looking deeper at their ecosytems. It is surely that Ethereum has bigger ecosystem, than Ethereum Classic.
If I have to switch from Ethereum to anything else, I will switch to Bitcoin, not Ethereum Classic.

xUSD - The PRIVATE stable coin - Haven Protocol
Oh my lovely broken Ethereum... 24 hours waiting for a smart contract interaction to go through!
In order to play a game in Ethereum I have to choose between paying big for every little action or wait a few hours, up to days!

I think I'm going to stop supporting developers who build on Ethereum... maybe if Ethereum ever proceeds with updating their blockchain I'll become a fan again, but right now I'm looking forward to games built on ARK and LOOM.

Maybe there you will find more up-to-date developers

*Brute force will solve any Bitcoin problem*

Keyword there is 'private'. It's not on the Ethereum blockchain, rather 'based on'. It does nothing for Eth or the Ethereum network.

Correct. It seems like it's not based on the main Ethereum chain.

FFS, Buterin at it again doing his damndest to tank his own creation...

There is a feeling that in its development the ethereum in a sense has come to a standstill, the problem of scaling has obviously turned out to be more complicated than it seemed at first glance and this is annoying.

Anyone looking at the ETHBTC ratio on Binanace right now?

I just noticed and it looks like for the last few hours there was a large wall exactly at 0.018848. So far there are 10,000 ETH on the bid which is about 200 BTC worth so about $2,000,000 however this wall has been getting filled for a while so the total order might of been much larger.

I am assuming that the money is coming back into alts and that we hit the low for ETHBTC at least for the ratio. In the near term I don't think we will go much lower. The dominance peaked at 70% and will probably slowly start heading back.

Things should get more interesting when we start September.

I saw that as well. The price in Bitfinex is also about 0.0188 now. It seems that big wall did not enhance the price further.
