I'm very excited about upcoming hard fork. I hope it will be success later today. Fingers crossed.
Everyone is waiting. I wonder how the market will behave a couple of hours before the plug, it’s not so long and we will find out.Anyone know all the upgrades and EIPs that will be implemented with the hard fork? It will be more scalable (even a little bit since sharding it's not a thing yet) ?

There is no chance of failure after last delay everyone is more than sure this time results will be as good as expected. Ethereum is going to have new beginning just like this is mentioned in the title of thread. I don't think price are going to move anymore just because of these upgrades as we have seen lot of increase and speculation already during last few days.

I was a bit worried that another postponement may occur and as a result the market would react negatively. Nevertheless, such bad turn of events didn't happen. Less 11 hours remaining till the forking. I'm hopeful and excited about eth's future.

I believe that it's going to be a successful network upgrade. They have delayed it before because of security concerns and at this time, they are making sure that this fork is going to be better than ever. No need to transfer your coins to an exchange, if I were you I'm going to transfer it to a better wallet like hardware wallet (ledger nano s). There will be no coin to generate after this fork, so whether you keep it there or into a hardware wallet it should be fine. I guess you expected a new coin? Expect ethereum to be 250 + usd on or before 8th MARCH 2019
If this would happen than the whole market cap should be above 230B and BTC have to cross $5k otherwise it is not possible in short term. No doubt ETH will get explode and this range is looking possible in next few weeks.
250$ is possible with the current development they are going to release because previously the price of ETH cross more than 160$ which seems to be more bullish. So the chance of increasing ETH price is very huge, so now it is very good to hold ETH tightly until the market starts recovering.
i wonder what if btc actually goes 40k in within a month or so we would never so.. thats why trading is never a good option..
Why this question here on the ETH thread? Are you thinking that ETH has the power to influence BTC prices in this way? I do not think so, it may have some influence on market sentiment, but not at the level of making BTC value so much. In a few hours we will know the future of ETH.
