yeah price of eth is low but most important thing is price is stable no pump and dump. in bull period eth can gives huge profit. specially for those who spent alot on eth. total crypto market cap is 12 billion right now i hope it will increase in future. i think after fork update eth price will move.
Fork update, you should not use it.
Upgrade or hard-fork, only one of them.
I can not disagree that when the Constantinople upgrade activated, Ethereum will get very huge motivational force, and will raise significantly than its low price at the moment.

ETH price fluctuating too much. It causes concern in investors for a coin that has so much potential.

this is a sign of the market we are in right now. this will be one of the coins that come out of this bear market with a bang. just hold it,keep mining it. and wait

Hardfork launch at the end of February, Fidelity launch in March. So big whales going to pump already? When we can expect growing?  Roll Eyes
Big investors will likely buy BTC when it starts rallying again ETH going up this year is something even I is looking forward, but looking at the price and the coming fork that might reduce the supply by 33% surely it will make a difference.
This is not a hardfork and it will not reduce the supply stop lying to tje people. This is upgrade and this will make the inflation inflate with 33% less by reducing miners reward, this upgrade will not reduce supply where did you read such total bullcrap??

Point of fact: it is a hardfork. Blocks produced after Constantinople are not compatible with blocks produced prior.

Anytime you want emissions to change outside of the protocol, you need to hardfork to make that happen.

Emission rate is reduced by 33%. In turn, this reduces circulating supply (compared to what it would have been without the change). It doesn't reduce by 33% (that's just dumb math), but it will be reduced since less ETH is being pushed out.

ETH developers are trying to get rid of miners and leave only asics to mine it's easier for them and they get paid by bitmain you are blind if you don't see that, they delayed the anti-asic code implementation "for further testing" yeah right what a joke they'll never implement it. How are you dip buyers keep on buying someone must pay for devs vacation all these symposiums they attend all the time are expensive guess who's paying.

lol noob alert.

this bull run is going to be massive because last time there was just the news of wallstreet and it went straight 20k.. ones it quietly reaches 10k people will start buying and that will bring a biggest bull run perhaps to 100k bitcoin or more.. but all i feel is this is gonna be great .. The pending etf will be a game changer.. digital assets really can change the world it works flawless may be we are in very early stage... but i have a good feeling about this.

Basically us miners are going to pay for eth price decline again. devs cut out share I dont see how is this beneficial for price? their idea is 'lets cut 33% of miners share and they will sell 33% less which will make price increase with 33%'.. WTF???  Angry

Maybe because good developers actually don't care about the price but about the tech.

As we can see that BTC, ETH and other crypto again in red sign, there is no chance to grow in start of February but we can expect after upgrade that going to happen end of this month, ETH price will start growing but now if ETH break the support line $100 like last time then i will buy ethereum and i will never miss chance again.  Cool

The predicted long slide has begun.
Begun or over?
I'd say over, because I'm not seeing the price going down $100 although price is stuck on a little (up/down) - no significant move as of the moment.

Don't listen to bull market talk. They want your money to hold the price...
They inspired us, why not? I'm holding ETH since the value was over $1,000 and I don't think I have to give up now.

Do you guys think that the price of ETH will rise again in anticipation of the upcoming fork, just like it did last time? I would love to acquire more of it, naturally.  Grin

Many people are bothering about the current situation of ETH but we know how potential the price of ETH is going to be in the coming days. We need to stay strong with our ETH holding because now the situation makes us to negative about ETH but once the market starts recovering the price of ETH will surely increase in the market.

I think some whale is trying to dump the ETH market and try and get it to break the $100 psychological or the 0.03 psychological against the BTC ratio.

Looking at the charts it perfect bounced from each support level. Took a small long at $101 and will hold some up to the fork and depending on price action might hold it longer.

Seems the dump was bought up perfectly well. Huge volatility in such a short period. I guess this is what happens in these dead markets.
can it possibly hit up to under $ 50, hopefully it doesn't happen, the fork will be delayed for now I don't know when it will be done, I'm still waiting for more interesting news on this thread
under 50 usd? i mean it's a possibility if bitcoin goes under 2000 usd, both things are unlikely to happen, anyways be ready for anything.

For those who are too concerned about if eth price will rise before the ending of the month because of upcoming fork, have you ask yourself what will happen after the fork? Will the price dump drastically or in slow-mo Cheesy or it will be sustainable?
If eth increase in price because of fork, i think after fork it will be dump to current price Roll Eyes

People have been writing off ETH for what seems like ages now, but the tech is solid enough for plenty of promising projects. I do not know if anyone has seen the project called Bomb token, where each transaction burns a part of the circulating supply. That is some smart coding, and possible on ETH. So I hope that it will recover.
