Forks is trying to get attention for free without doing effort but they none has future. Chapter of forks has closed already last year because they stopped getting support from exchanges. Now what forks are coming out these are scams attempts mostly, we are hearing things happening everyday. People will have to stop chasing free money there is no free lunch.
The upcoming fork of Ethereum is not a classic fork. This is just a global update. And yes you are right the era of forks ended in early 2018.

From my point of view he is talking about shit forks who are trying to get access to other people's private keys like recently happened. ETH is going to implement an upgrade on this network to make this more convenient platform.

Recently, we have another shitty clone fork from Ethereum.
Ethereum Advance!
After the Ethereum Classic Vision hardfork, it is time of Ethereum Advance hardfork.
So, what should we call them all?
Both of them are hard-forks from Ethereum or clone-forks?
Awesome! I hope that they are also managing bounty campaign to attract more investors  Grin
Come on, for how long will be new forks created? This doesnt help cryptocurrencies with an adoption!

It's a scam. Do no provide any sensitive data.

Now a days a lot of scammers doing this job it's looking easy for them to collect data of private keys and dump them. It depend on holders how responsible they take action against this kind of shit forks.
These days people are so stupid, don't think twice just hanger after FREE money! That's no surprised scammers has taken private keys and immediately made transfer to new address. It's extremely prohibited those frequent fake actions and verify the news with legitimate sources.

Its not only people giving their private keys its the replay attacks that can go on.

Basically with BTC forks many of them were fake and they either wanted your private keys or they wanted you to perform BTC fork transactions that they would later replay on to the BTC network.

Say someone offered $100 for 1 BTC-FORK-COIN and you sent it because you assumed that BTC-FORK-COIN would fail and its useless. Then that user just replayed the transaction on the BTC network and basically ended up buying 1 BTC for $100 if you didn't properly split the coins.

The warnings were everywhere but people didn't listen anyways.

Another day another fork in the crypto verse. I don't trust any of these forks unless they are from some reputable source.

Coz transferring ETH and other tokens to a different address with every fork is a major pain.

anyone knows why this address is sending "randomly" ETH?
I've just received some pennies, but I'm wondering why

https://etherscan.io/address/0x7c8d4f76c86624b177d4df11bd479ae9cc4da73d

Nobody doesn't know the whose address it belongs too, but i didn't receive anything from that address, now i don't see any ETH left in that address. Maybe he has a whole lot of ETH in his account and he wants to share with the others.

A doubt, for these forks does not need the acceptance of the ETH community?

It looks like Ethereum's competitors are ahead of it in development and have more clear plan and better execution more importantly. Ethereum's hard fork which caused delay in changes didn't give good message because there was months work and testing on testnet. There are number of tokens those started as ERC-20 have migrated or are in process of moving to own blockchains, all this have impact on Ethereum for sure.

You will not see a bull movement as you think in February or March. Instead I think you will see $50 eth and $1500 bitcoin. When you hear financial groups are buying up coins like what you hear right now, that means they are selling and they want the price to hold while they do it. It is a bear market across the board and all the bs is just that, BS. The next plunge is just around the corner.
My opinion coincides with yours. We did not see the pump in January, which means we will not see global growth this year. Very sad.

He knows that Ethereum worth nothing  Grin. No, just kidding.

Do you think that Ethereum 2.0 will come this year? With Constantinople we should be close to it, or?

Constantinople upgrade/fork should be implemented by middle February 2019, but the ETH going POS, I'm seeing it live Q4 2020 / Q1 2021

Hi Mrpumperitis,
I was looking too at this great dualmining possibility
What miner will you use to run both ETH & ZIL? Do you have any bat file examples please
sorry bro, i dont have any...give it a day or two , im sure many will pop up.

sure it will  Smiley
this is a revolutionary dual mining
could bring back a lot of miners who has shutted down their rigs due to the elec costs & not profitable business

Are you an ETH miner?
If yes, i highly suggest you look into Zilliqa..
https://blog.zilliqa.com/zilliqa-project-update-26-final-testing-before-mainnet-launch-75bf27cbc186

Remote/Dual Mining

PoW window is only 1 min per 2–3 hours (for 1 DS Epoch), dual mining is a logical choice for all miners to partake in, i.e., 99% uptime for mining ETH/GRIN, and 1% uptime for mining ZIL.
Therefore if you wish to setup the dual mining processes, you can simply run both Zilminer and ethminer software concurrently on your GPU rigs. However, do note that if you with to mine ZIL and ETH concurrently, your GPUs must have a vRAM of > 4GB in order to accommodate both ZIL’s DAG size (~1.02GB) and ETH’s DAG size (~2.84GB).

Mine ETH an Zil at the same time!!!!!!!!!!  Grin Grin Grin
