For me, with the price of Ether at $130 per coin, the profitability of mining is zero. It all depends on the price of electricity. But while it is tolerable, I hope for the rise.

when you're popular, it's normal that you have fleas. as in any big city there is always dirt and sewage, which are these applications. think the ethdevs s preparing something more. if they managed daosituation, everything will be fine here too. im sure that we will see prices above 1000 dollars again.

Don't ask others they know as you know because no expert will here to share free knowledge. People will drive you towards their own interest. One's loss is other's profit this is how these markets works and crypto has no exception. It is quite normal to see this kind of comments when Ethereum is facing bad times. But no one knows what is next and which market will grow much or less.

Only POS can save ETH at the moment. ICOs are going down and with them the price and applicability of ETH. We can expect POS in Q4 2019, right?

They do it because apparently they like to portray an image of themselves as selfless not money oriented nice guys. They're full of shit really.

With POS yes, that's when it's planned for, but who knows if that will save ETH.

It looks like someone presses reset button and all markets one by one started to have new start. A new beginning from new base prices is under play where people will be tested and new ones have chance to get on using second chance. When something can't lift up they simply put in down to get their targets. This is actually happening everywhere in traditional as well as digital markets these days.

The peak is indeed true that at the end of this year everything will drop dramatically, it is not impossible if all miners will go bankrupt and sell all their mining tools.

This is a crazy year for Ethereum, Last year January Ethereum was $10 and with the look of things it seems Ethereum is heading for less than $100. I just pity this ICO projects that solely and blindly hold Ethereum in this bear market , especially those that raise fund when it was @ ATH.

I'm reading all your reasons and excuses and you're all so wrong. At the end of it all it comes down to usability and does something have a need or a worthwhile purpose. Ethereum is a giant ponzi that makes more ponzi's and that was really it's only purpose. 99% of those were scams and the other 1% under performed, so a 99% correction is due.
