We hope that Vitalik Buterin can research to limit the amount of Ethereum to increase its value. Although ETH is widespread, its value is still low in comparison to my thinking.

What limit is nice to bring value back you should share your opinion as like this ecosystem is growing where have has no matter only use case and mass adoption could make it more valuable in future.

It is nice to see ETH holding well above $200 mark we need a stable for next rise. Some big news will create the hype like XRP and we will next wave of FOMO buy in coming days keep buying it is solid investment.
Yeah Ethereum still stable at $200 price and hope we will see next rise very soon, i thought that eth will go back $170-$190 but eth going well.
Right now best time to buy eth at low price and indeed big news will be appear and price will be pump of eth.  Smiley

Good evening. I want to believe that the coin will cross the border at $ 300, but the graph says that there will be a price reduction of the coin below $ 200. I wish everyone success.

There is no good news coming out of the Ethereum camp.
If you watch their concenus videos of the devs talking on their livestreams, they seem to be at ends about what to do further with the technology they were assigned by Vitalik to look after.
Especially with the block halving that is a final stake in the heart for those who supported it the most, the mining community who make sure the transactions go through until they impose POS and only god knows when this will happen.

Will be only allow what the oligarchs have already entered I think: BTC, ETH, ETC, XRP, XLM, NEO. The rest will be banned just as do not give to create cars on the water instead of gasoline from pre-war times, so as not to violate the interests of fuel companies

In short you can be sure there is nothing going to change. This is typical tactic of new projects to create hype and they start with flippening always to scare the people. We have lot of weak people among us in any market who don't understand these markets neither do believe in their future but want to make money form these. Ethereum is standing on huge infrastructure which is its strength and adoption has given it penetration at gross root level while other projects need time and hard work to get there.

a reduction in remuneration or an increase in difficulty is always offset by an increase in the exchange rate

I don't agree... Last few months we saw Ethereum difficulty increasing while the price was decreasing. I guess it's because new miners were starting with mining ETH and didn't care that the daily profit was decreasing. Only few days ago, when the ETH price was so low and difficulty so high that mining became unprofitable for a lot of miners, we saw difficulty decreasing.

I guess the team behind Ethereum decided to decrease the mining reward to fight inflation. I guess they realized that there is too much new ETH on the market every day. This way (in theory) the price should rise 33% because the reward will be decreased by 33%. But I'm sure the rise in price won't be that big.

The difficulty did go down but not a whole lot. Basically back to the April 2018 levels and in the grande scheme of things it's very little and hardly made mining any more profitable.

Don't think it will cause the price to go up however. ETH had plenty of good news like the ETH futures trading and the price went down also.

The issue is the cashing out of ICOs and the fearful selling of the holders who bought at $1000 earlier this year.

There are also the scalable issues that the network is having. It gets clogged from time to time and it's full database is becoming way too large for the average computer user to run a node.

OK, ICOs cashing out is definitely the biggest problem for ETH price. But you can't say that price won't go up at all. It will eventually. And if it doeasn't, the difficulty will decrease because miners will get 2/3 od the reward the used to get so for most of them mining will become unprofitable and they'll switch to another coin. I don't see how can someone with hundreds of GPUs mine in negative or even zero profitability. There's no sense in mining just to pay for electricity.

ETH showed record volumes in recent days in the history - this is a sign of a reversal probably, need to buy now

I believe ETH is here to stay and it will stay blessed it boost the whole blockchain ecosystem. There are so many reason to buy this coin before it get too late.

i also see eth as really long term project, if eth could be anything big then it will take a while for all problems in eth blockchain to get fix before a good rise in price, people that are saying eth will die soon are just been sentiment, i don't think eth will disappear that easily, all is required is the devs to step up and turn things arround.

Don't listen to those who say that Ethereum will die soon. Just remember how many people said that Bitcoin will die soon over the last 10 years, and look at the BTC now. It's still the king of the crypto world with Ethereum as it's prince  Smiley

I meant long-term

Well, in the long-term the price and the difficulty should act that way. It just hard to wait long-term when profitability is lowering and for some it's even negative when they count in electricity expenses.

I too believe ETH is here to stay, but the developers really must start fixing problems. You can't have serious project that can become practically unusable by one single dApp. It's ridiculous! I hope this new hard fork delivers some improvements and not just reward decrease for the miners...
