Ethereum currently looking a good hedge compare to other crypto coins, and good swing trade option

Gosh, no. I spent my four years fucking around by myself in swing trading. Got nothing but stress and annoyance. Now sitting back, keeping my ETH tight and watching the price rise ( short-term fluctuations don't count).

Ethereum's "Fee Market" has surpassed Bitcoin

Ethereum still has cheaper individual transaction fees, but is processing a lot more transactions each day, so the total is adding up.

Bitcoin ($9,370)
Block Reward = 1,800 BTC = $16,866,000
Fees = 32.48 BTC = $304,337.6

Ethereum ($742)
Block Reward = 17,322 ETH = $12,852,924
Fees = 426.88 ETH = $316,744.96

I'm not feeling surprised about that. Ethereum transaction has reached more than 1 million transactions and that means if there is more and more people try to use ethereum blockchain especially in trading ethereum asset that gives a lot of the transactions to the ethereum network right now. It looks possible to the ethereum to surpass bitcoin in the future and not very soon.  Roll Eyes

Good news
Amazon has announced today that users of it's Amazon Web Services are now able to immediately deploy instances of Ethereum nodes, it gives the choice between deploying a public or private EC2 instant, what is strange is how they have chosen so solely support Ethereum firstly at this point.

that's truly strange, did they provide any explanation , why only Ethereum choosen?

I'm on the forum for 6 months, but this topic met for the first time. I didn't know Vitalik had an account here and he posted his idea here. What a pity that I didn't know about it before, now'd be a millionaire. Good thing I bought the aether when it was $350.

real talk
Vitalik Buterin is cool, continues to improve his platform, today it is almost the only working platform for ico projects.
I continue to believe in the product and I'm waiting for new updates.

Ethereum will be smashed up recently? I need to collect chips. I hope I can get a cheaper purchase.

Define cheaper...
When you look at the price before dip, we were at 1K+ so you could say that now is "cheap"  Kiss

Good comment. It is literally impossible to call almost any coin cheap or expensive at this stage of development of the whole crypto market. Should ETH take over the world in ten years, we all know it was cheap today. Should it go to zero one day, we all know it was expensive today, pretty expensive then! Tongue

Ethereum has started to rebound again. It seems that there is no real bad news.
All was just a FUD, it's time to buy now because this will again rise.
It could give us short term profit so take advantage on this situation, FUDders will benefit on this rebound so we have to be smart as well.

I think there will still be a recession for Ethereum. There will be another correction, and then there will be a sharp rise in the price of the coin.

Yes, already the correction process is still going but now it will increase it's price suddenly. Along with the Bitcoin, the price of ETH is kept increasing based on the market cap, but this time we have a chance to increase it's price higher.

what makes eth special now is its massive jump start on everything else in the space. does anyone truly believe any of the new competitors coming onto the scene will not have problems of their own as they start their own blockchains?
Yes, I am one of those people who believe that there are currently some coin that prepare the mainstay strategy to compete with Ethereum.

Didn't the CFTC guy say that even Bitcoin has elements of being a security?

No.
Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning of the first ICO!
Vitalik and Co. took your bitcoins and gave you a security.

This hasn't been decided yet and I see high chances that Ethereum won't be qualified as a security at its current stage.

Swing trading is a dangerous game to play as the past has shown. Imagine you have been a swing trader when Bitcoin went from 1k to 10k Sad

Apparently there's no SEC's hearings today, there's no way to find it on SEC's website

https://www.sec.gov/news/upcoming-events

So it was just FUD, (well orchestrated I must say), or it was postponed?
