yup, its somehow the "safe" bet considering crypto being risky. Only thing I dont like is that when BTC falls, everything else (including ETH) falls with it. Only some coins like BTX were holding the price, probably because weekly 6% airdrop.

I will tell honestly, I do not know as other coins, but such coins as btc and eth will be very long even if many other coins or projects will die, then these will die only together with the crypto market. And still here it is possible to add dex coin now. Now many such coins look perspective as not quiet time approaches.

Theoretically, however, each and every one of these innovations and more can potentially be made hundreds of times easier to implement, and easier to scale, if only there was a stronger foundational layer with a powerful scripting language for all of these protocols to build upon. And this need is what we seek to satisfy.

Ethereum is a modular, stateful, Turing-complete contract scripting system married to a blockchain and developed with a philosophy of simplicity, universal accessibility and generalization. Our goal is to provide a platform for decentralized applications - an android of the cryptocurrency world, where all efforts can share a common set of APIs, trustless interactions and no compromises. We ask for the community to join us as volunteers, developers, investors and evangelists seeking to enable a fundamentally different paradigm for the internet and the relationships it provides.

yes big coin like eth btc neo ripple will surelly survive because everything is depending on them
and mostly eth coin used in contract based tokens and many projects are depending on eth coin so i think eth is good and will be okay
and also its a very good step for sec because many coin and tokens are useless and they have no purpose
only grabing investors money. so my point of view everything is going on the right way

Ethereum's more senior developers are calling for a public debate over what steps, if any, should be taken at the software level to return funds lost in high-profile hacks and incidents.

In a bi-weekly meeting Friday, the developers took sides over a controversial ethereum improvement proposal, EIP 867, which advocates for a method of returning funds to potential victims. For me, the coins/tokens that I invested in will survive because well I invested in them and I don't want to lose the money.

I know I'll be investing heavily knowing Sec. 12(a)(1) of the Securities & Exchange Act of 1933 essentially gives me a put right should the value of Ethereum go down whatsoever. And don't think being located outside the US is going to help you.

I have no doubt that 2018 will be Ethereum's year! I am surprised only by those who buy other, low-value coins and believe that they can be better than ETH! They are crazy in my eyes..
