How can i know for sure what the inflation would be? Is there a table somewhere?
Nobody really knows. Ethereum is a company coin. Depends on the Board of Directors when will they decide to issue the next IPO, sorry next ICO I meant. They might promise whatever their shareholders (eth bagholders) would like to hear, but at the end human greed will decide. The PoW secheme has changed several times. Originally, there was a plan to release 18 million coins forever. But it was changed.

There isnt. Inflation will be cut down dramatically around 2016/17 with the "Casper" milestone and PoS. How much on the other hand is still not decided.
Hitting the 1 billion market cap was amazing!!! Keeping up with bitcoin is insane. It promotes stability.
I think the Etheruem is on its way to hit the $2 billion market cap at the moment. I hope it can be slowed down.

I am using 0.7.4 (Beta 18), the mist wallet. It takes a long time to update and it tells me there is a more up to date geth.
I understand geth is in the download and part of the mist wallet.
I don't understand how to update geth separately and if I should, maybe just wait till the next wallet release, it would then include it I expect.
Are there instructions on how to just update the geth part without messing anything up?
Any advise please.
