Help Please!

Trying to send Ether out of my wallet and it keeps saying wrong password. I know the password is correct. Did I get hacked and someone changed it? Can I create another password and/or change wallets or something? What should I do?

I think this the bottom of this pull back will be around $4.
I would not be surprised if does nor make a new high for another 6 months. There is so much supply over hanging the market.
There is alot of money that got caught long at MUCH higher prices.

Go Big or Go Home.....
You know something is always up when newb members try to bash a coin (or stock) on the forums..  Cheesy

What about hero members?

I think what ETH dev is doing is a complete disgrace, and he will continue to show his true thoughts on his OWN PRODUCT by doing things such as this...

Answer me this...

If he thought his coin was so great, why in hell would he dump such amounts at once? To me the answer is obvious... he lacks faith in his own project.

Have fun and make money while you can with ETH, because the dev has already shown us where he thinks it should go... (insert DUMPster joke here, *badoom doom, tish*)

IMO - Don't get stuck holding the bag, get out while you can.

Haven't we all figured out that premine and IPO are things that coins do when they're not planning on being legit? Sure there are the rare few, but isn't it wiser to judge on the majority?

If you're interested in one that has followed all of the correct ways of doing things from the beginning, shown true innovation, and has broken multiple (and will continue to break) world firsts, there's a hint in my signature as to where to look...

Be ready, that's all I have to say. The truly good projects are soon to come to the top where they belong.

Doing things the right way takes longer to get you rich, but in the end you still end up with a solid reputation... (Which to some people is more important than instant money.) Doesn't the saying go something like 'it goes as fast as it comes' or something along those lines? That one always rang true to me. Just sayin'.

Hopefully I'm wrong and the dev just had to pay some really large power bills, right? Maybe. Wink

Would love a counter-argument here, if only for shits n grins. Carry on...

No counter arguments, obviously.
To samspaces :
Sorry. Some of us have lives and don't eat and breathe BITCOINTALK.. LOL

To crowetic :

Thanks for putting an actual well written post in this thread about it, with some actual thought put into it. :-)

About his 25% dump, we can not complain about as it is his decision. What if he had some bills? Even if not, what if he wanted to enjoy some $$ for his heard work with this project? I do the same. Liquidate enough to make me comfy and hold the rest. Nobody has the right to complain nor know his life/situation. What if he borrowed a large amount of $$ from a local loanshark who (in RU) WILL go after him and his family if not paid up? You never know.

Most of us people in the world are not happy with the status quo and want more, better, faster, etc.. So If I have a chance to make $$$ on selling a large chunk of my investment, let it be.

People should not get all caught up in the emotions of stocks or crypto.
I am not saying buy everything and hold forever, but even Bitcoin had the same type of ups and down over the years and I just found it funny how most the panickers and people calling for the TEOTWAWKI (Regarding eth) are newb accounts. I see this all the time with altcoins on the exchanges and forums as well as OTCBB Stock forums. It's all BS, all the time.. Nobody other than maybe a deity will try to 'Save you' from an investment decision, on a forum most of all. LOL

And finally. Let's just see where it goes. What people seem to 'forget' is how ETH went from a little over $2 to $15 and even now still over $7 within less than 2 months?

The price rose too quickly. It rose to $470 in a few weeks, then it dropped to $439, now it is $455 again.

Free trial of #AltFolio = save time, react faster
Please help me with two small questions:

When I am given an ETH address 0x... - I want to check if it is valid, in Python.
Is there some kind of checksum embedded into an ETH address, like a cross sum?
Any ready (Python) code for checking?

What is the maximum (ASCII string) length of an ETH 0x... address?
Is it the same for contract addresses?

Thanks a lot!

guys in some days there will be the slock.it dao, you think that this could influence eth price and give us some pumps?

Yes, and Eth is more influenced (price wise) by news, so I could see a couple things snowball for ETH to new ATH's. BTC seems stuck in 400's limbo.

i really hope to see a new high. hope to see slock.it soon Cheesy

The UK government has awarded £248k to a startup that is building a cross-border payments tool using Ethereum.
http://www.coindesk.com/uk-government-awards-250000-develop-cross-border-blockchain-prototype/

247K is not really a lot of dev hours.

The main point is that the funding show the government's support for Ethereum based technology. That is important.
