Ok. I've encountered this ETHD at coinexchange.io and I've seen a great volume and has a low supply so I decided to visit their thread here on bitcointalk.org.
Instead of reading the entire thread which will include some irrelevant replies of some members, I decided to visit the OP's profile, abi2018, and read his/her
entire post (no exaggerations). The reason I said this is to inform the devs that I am equipped with the knowledge and information that has been input in the the thread (more like what the devs had input in the thread). I also visited the website.
Here's my review:
- The ANN thread could be more fixed to be better. Honestly, it's kind of boring (no offense). Good impression is an important thing. If I'm not interested and curious as what I've seen with the ETHD's performance in coinexchange.io maybe I didn't bother to read.
- I understand that the website is continually been improved. I am looking forward for the roadmap to be a little bit specific i.e. with the dates (example: January 2018: ETHD wallet available in Google Play Store). Also, looking forward for more additional information about the coin.
- About coinswap: I just want to say that if the deadline is November 10th then stick with that. It shouldn't be earlier than that, neither what the community wants nor it depend whether the distribution is finished early since it doesn't mean that there won't be anyone who want to swap their coins in the last minute. What if there is an ETHD holder who wants to swap his coins at the last minute since he is staking it at coinsmarkets.com and wants to have the maximum ETHD he can get from staking but unfortunately he can't swap it since "unexpectedly" it has ended "earlier" with the given deadline which is November 10th. It should be: the deadline is November 10th. No more, no less. That's more solid and sure. No confusion.
- If it's possible, it might be nice if there is a text in the exchanger like coinexchange.io above the trade page of ETHD (note: coinexchange.io really adds a message like a notice that "you can't withdraw/deposit at the moment (refers to the coin where the message is displayed)," "the coin has change its name from XYZ to ABC" and something like that but in ETHD'S case it would be "ongoing coinswap for its new ERC20 token, visit their website for more details." Anyway, I think they will add that when the coinswap approaches closer to its deadline. Maybe 10 days before? This is for awareness.
- The devs (a, b and i) are constantly getting in touch with the community has a positive impact in the community. Commended for that.
- Clarity. As I said, some are quiet confused so better clarify some things and emphasize the important details. I've seen a member asking whether the swap is "necessary" or not since you, devs, never emphasized it or it lacks some important details that the community should know. Let's say there's a scenario: I didn't somehow swapped my ETHD into ERC20 token and it just stayed in the exchanger site like coinexchange.io, will my ETHD, who is not an ERC20 token, disappear? Or is there some sort of autoswap that these exchangers who will switch to ERC20 token version of ETHD?
- A suggestion (you can take it or not, it's up to you): I think you need a little more help so maybe try to look for another person or people to be a part of your team?
- etc. (it's pretty late in here so I decided to end this review)
To the community, patience and try to understand the devs' situation. Just wait for your turn especially those who keep blabbing about their airdrop being not sent every now and then. It is "free" so basically you haven't thrown any money into it (referring to those who supposedly will receive the airdrop).
To those who will critique, set your facts and evidences straight. Circumstantial evidence can't be a solid point.
P.S. My intention is not to promote or give critique to the project
itself.
I just provided my review.P.P.S. Thank you to those who take time to read my review. Have a nice day!
