For the ones who havent't received ethd airdrop coins yet, go to coinexchange and buy them, they're still cheap.
That doesn't make much sense, people are interested in airdrops because they are free.

True, but if you would have bought some ethHD prior to Saturday, you would have had nice gains for holding the coins for a few days. Also, more coins equals higher and more frequent staking. It's a win win scenario, and the price is still cheap if people are getting into this coin a little late.

Hi, I wonder why still have not received my EthereumDark? There are many Newbie here, they flooded this thread with requests and the Veterans were left out? I didn't know that decentralizing was to distribute countless tokens for the same Newbie, I'm disappointed because I received my first airdrop, but the second apparently I was left out.

I happen to be a newbie.  I also happen to just signed up yesterday.  I also bought a some coins yesterday.  While I do see multiple accounts spamming for an airdrop as a problem, I sure I speak for the other newbies that we don't want to lose out on a possible opportunity also.  Heck, I don't even have a reddit account, just usually lurk.  I'm late to the crypto game, just trying to make a little something before it all goes mainstream because profits will decrease after widespread adoption.  There has to be a way to serve both the newbies and veterans on this I believe.

Don't take it to heart man. Jump right in. You're welcome. More hands create more wealth.

Also can join our ethereum dark telegram group: https://t.me/Ethereum_DARK

Thanks!  I signed up for the telegram.  I think this coin has potential!  First one I've looked at that I felt I should really move on and get more into than just buying some.  That is why I decided to actually sign up for the forum.  Hope to buy a little more too once payday gets here.

Lots of wallets connect through IRC to find nodes. If you put such a wallet through a heuristic virus scanner it's gonna get flagged. Probably it shares some code with actual viruses abusing IRC.

Well, you're right. If the wallet uses IRC to find nodes, then, no reason to be worried, i guess ? Smiley

I'll go with three angry lemurs viciously guarding it ... dont take my ethd! And make little guard uniforms for the lemurs.

Did you really write something about lemurs in little guard uniforms ? Cheesy Cheesy Shocked

virustotal.com shows positive
running manually through most of the antivirus indicates nothing
which one to go with?

I'll go with virtualbox in a DMZ Cheesy

Hey mates, i'm a little bit worried about this

https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/49c9a65c05b1d2359347ed59a9fde69ffdfcc12bef884e7bb96e427a29765fcb/detection

I know there are lots of false positives out there but none of the wallets i use have even ONE bad result.

This was discussed before as well so just relax dude... Grin!! https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.22034088

I've already checked the thread before asking, mate Smiley And 2 or 4 people saying "norton says it's ok" "avira says it's ok", that's not what i call "discussion". Blind faith, perhaps ? :p
I'll run it from a virtual machine and i'll monitor its network business... Better safe than sorry !
But i'd rather prefer the dev to do whatever necessary to clean its scan results. If that's possible, of course.
You're never paranoid enough when it comes to your money Cheesy

I just got EthereumDark listed on http://www.coinmarkets.co.uk/ethereum-dark-market-cap It's not big but the more places ethd is listed the better as the coin will get more exposure and bring in new people. Just like to thank the team over at coinmarkets UK for listing ETHD.

Please people don't post your ETHD addresses in this thread or you risk not receiving any airdrops and also risk the thread being closed down by the forum mods, so please stop!

Nice job @vella85.

For all the people wondering about virus scan results, if you are worried just install it on a sandbox environment. I think verium was the only wallet that my antivirus permitted me to install. From then I just use virtual box on a spare machine.

The only wallet ? not at all. I use some other wallets which have only green results...
I'm a bit worried about this alert. Trojan/IRC bots are a real threats nowadays, mostly in the cryptoworld/for tokens holders.
