Is the dev coming back? His login should show that he was around for the fork going to hell.

Is there a time limit on when this needs to be fixed? If 7 hours from now it's too late, than etoken is dead.

Don't mine with old wallet guys. You'll lose your coins. I'm quite sure dev will fork again at block 42217.
You're contradicting yourself. If the dev will fork again at 42217, it wont matter with what you're mining with - both the current and the old one will be considered as forks and new chain will be minted.

Okay, then more clearly.  Smiley I don't think it makes sense to mine at all at the moment. Neither the old nor the new chain. After next fork all coins will be lost.

Yep i was meaning the same. Both chains are useless at the moment. So better make a new and better one. I am too tiered to wait for the dev to wake up. So hope the new fork does get there after i wake up Tongue I would like to mine at the beginning of it :-)

Holy shit i just woke up, wtf is going on? I havent done any updates, wallet, etc should i just hang tight until we figure this out?

Diff retarget broken after fork -> miners getting 1 coin per second. I think it's best to just sit and wait for dev releasing a fixed version.

I also think its not wise to just go on and mine the old chain. I am also wondering what this will mean for people who bought e-tokens on coinedup after the fork (and on the new chain). They will lose there coins right? If we fork at block 42217.

Beside that we lose coins we mined after the fork (even the ones with a normal diff ;-) )

Sucks. Hopes the dev makes a good fork. And mabey incomperate the Kimoto Gravity. Let make this fork something good. And add something and give the coin this little extra. After this we have a long way to go.

I'm not an expert at this, but what is the role of the "nodes" (or "seed nodes") in all this, are they running the new version now? Or is there even such a thing as seed node software.  Huh

Actually, one other option. As the owner of DR etokenpool, I could just switch back to older daemon - if the dev botched this release, we should continue on the stable one (same for other pools)

seems like we could really just switch back to old version
old wallet syncs for me and shows this info:

{
"blocks" : 42231,
"currentblocksize" : 0,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 8.61899502,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : false,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"networkhashps" : 33540696,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false
}
