By now everyone knows which is the best incentive in terms of popularity gain...
So how about using (just a bit of) the new bank around there ?

that certainly wouldn't be a luxury right now  Tongue

Well i dont mind :-) But i can not do it right now.
I can send some coins from the bank and then someone else to give them away on the giveaway. Lets just start with 100 coins orso. Let me know what you people want :-)

Working on the site and the faucet. Also had some good news from Randy pNut. More info on that later :-)
Also send a email to etokendice to be sure they are on the right fork.

Good but some small corrections below:

eToken was created on January 7, 2014

eToken is a platform with secure transactions, a great name and a significantly lower amount of coins made eToken rise through the ranks of popularity quite quickly.

However, when eToken hit a hard fork the original developer left. The community quickly stepped in and fixed the fork while making adjustments to the difficulty retargeting, removing the bonus blocks and most importantly removing old developers premine/bank(from source) to make eToken better than ever.

This secured the future of eToken while making a statement that it can be a trusted cryptocurrency. The community will make sure it stays that way. All of eTokens source is available for review below.

Some of the original developers stepped back in and are currently working on an eToken exchange platform. You can follow their progress at http://e-Token.org/

Yeah, I can't believe i misspelled amount and developer.

Thanks!

I sent 30 etok to coined up right before the trouble. Now nothing is in my coined up account and showing nothing but the transaction in my wallet.

What do I need to post here to recover them?
Contact coinedup with the transaction id when your coins were pre-fork coins.
If they were from after the broken fork then they're gone.
But no need to post your details here, you have to resolve that problem with coinedup.

I sent them to coined up when the trouble started...so does that mean they're gone?

I`m not sure.
See this: http://cryptexplorer.com/tx/90e2bc11833745a5e235d84cc9c3f69c46457b656f39e414a463ee31fb14b548
Here it says:
Appeared in 44381 (2014-01-31 16:11:08)
That doesn`t look like prefork. The date is strange when you really send them before the crash. It looks more like you send them 1h before.
And the block number is strange too. Because it was forked at 42231 i think.
Could it be that you started your client the first time after fork 1h ago ?

And if  eLJTb8KefyPhHNLpFDtQVhbs2hN2kGvBTD really is your coinedup deposit address then the coins are there.
http://cryptexplorer.com/address/eLJTb8KefyPhHNLpFDtQVhbs2hN2kGvBTD
So contact coinedup and show them the links.

As long as this transaction has 0 confirmations there will no coins show up in your coinedup balance.

When I first logged in to coined up there were no eTokens there. Now, after signing in a second time the 30 eTokens are there.

I'm confused but happy nontheless Smiley

I made it easier...just copy and paste now:

Token was created on January 7th of 2014.

The secure transactions, good name and low numbers of coins made it popular right away. Also, an exchange platform around eToken was in development from the start.

After the original developer left when a bugged fork was made we had the chance to take what was good about the coin and changed the parts that were holding it back. Three major points were improved; The difficulty retargeting, the bonus blocks were discontinued and most importantly the 100k of the old premine/bank was blocked (in the source code!).

With this we secured the future of the coin and gave a signal to the outside world that eToken will be a trusted cryptocurrency. The community will go very far to keep it that way. All the code is open for review (see info below).

Other members of the original development were welcomed back and are working on the exchange platform right now. It will be build here http://www.e-token.org/

I want to thank everyone who in anyway contributed to the revival of eToken. Special thanks to Murkanovic for his dev work.

We do have a coin but that is just the start. We need to do it together.
We mined a little bank of 9999. We also paid the dev from this amount and other expenses (domain name). The bank add is found below.

This still contains some ugly grammar mistakes. I'm at the tablet at the moment. Will send the corrected version when i'm at my desktop.

@rznag did we already have a new logo? I try to keep up with everything but hope you understand i do not always succeed in it :-)
I don't know. There are 10 different versions in my dropbox link. It's Not my decision.
If some of you like one of the logos then we have a new logo. Otherwise we need more to choose from.
We could pre select the best ones and do a voting.
