If the buy side goes from 800 to 150 to 800, it implies one of three things. (a) is what actually happened.

(a) 650 bitcoins were dumped onto the market.
(b) 650 bitcoins were removed from the buy side by one person.
(c) 650 bitcoins were removed from the buy side simultaneously by many people.

(c) is highly unlikely. You seem to think that (b) is the answer. If that's the case, then the buy side for factom is in fact very weak. Fortunately its not. After the mega dump, the buys were all sold into. Well that's what happens when you dump. Recovered almost immediately as everyone wants to buy cheap.

And to all those guys thinking that someone is manipulating the market:

I think this is just stupid FUD all the time.
It is just possible to make money of "manipulating" if ppl buy or sell on panic or make stupid moves at all. Otherwise if a big whale moves the market he is the one who looses the most.
How do you call it if within a second the buy side drops from 800 BTC to 150 BTC and goes to 800 BTC again 5min later? If that is not manipulation you're either naive or don't know the meaning of the word manipulation.

This is btw something you go to jail in a lot of countries. Waiting for the day these laws also apply to crypto.

D-Lux, you have a misconception here. The first screenshot shows the trades of "today". The second shows from July to now.

Edit: not "to now" - from july to Oct 4th.

Totally right -- my mistake about that. Thanks for the correx.

I think I'll trust Tim Draper who is actually a billionaire and not an anon troll grossbit who plays with pennies, trying to make ends meet. Come on guys, wake up, so many of you are so asleep and blind it's unreal; you just blindly go about your life and follow the herd like zombies, use your own head and logic.

Tim Draper didn't buy factoids. He bought shares in factom.

This Polo "analyse" feature looks funky to me. Apparently I have made 218 BTC trading on ETCBTC, with an average sell price that's only 3% more than my average buy price (wtf).  Huh

the point is that you might have sold more ETC and u ever bought.
Lets say you deposited some ETC from another exchange or most likely from your ETH wallet. So if u just sell those it counts as profit as well althought it doesnt necessary have to be profit made on poloniex or profit at all if you bought those ETC from another exchange at a higher price....

So just look at your sell and buy volume as well.

And to all those guys thinking that someone is manipulating the market:

I think this is just stupid FUD all the time.
It is just possible to make money of "manipulating" if ppl buy or sell on panic or make stupid moves at all. Otherwise if a big whale moves the market he is the one who looses the most.

If for example he sells his stash by selling against half of the buy order book , price goes down a lot which is not in his favor , unless he is able to buy back at lower prices, which is just the case if there are other panic sellers. If there are smart buyers in this case, he looses money against those smart buyers.
So basically the amount of panic sellers have to be greater than the amount of smart buyers, if this is the case the "manipulator" wins money, if not, he looses.
It is a free market and fair.

If the market is smart the whale will loose a lot of money by trying to manipulate the market like this.

In a free market like the crypto, it is always other ppl loosing money or the total marketcap wins against EUR/USD or other values. There is no possible way of being a whale and having an advantage over others other than those stupid ppl who panic buy/ sell.
And it doesnt have to be the small ppl loosing against the whales, i think it is even a lot easier for small holders to make money on crypto than big holders.

That feature shows a loss for my Factoids-trades because I bought a lot in 2015 and sold just some % until now. But I know I'm good in the profit-zone. What I want to say with that: If you didn't sell all of your ETC - it can be misleading.

(...)  there are big players moving the markets. probably they are close to Factom if not insiders themselves (most probably).(...)

I absolutely don't understand why it's necessary to spread those rumors. I mean, you just say "most probably" Factom-Insiders - without giving a single argument to underline that a claim.

I'm in Factom since one year and I have never seen any sign for Insider-Trading (once, but in China - Yuanbao) but of course, a lot of signs for a manipulated market. But that is usual in Crypto! Maybe you're too new to know that, but Pump-n-Dump-Groups and big whales etc. move the markets.

well good grief, already in the red, 0.00371 now...

Not even going to ask why you have two accounts.

Nor am I going to reiterate the proofs of deception and falsehood below.

You're talented, and obviously very intelligent. Most people will believe you. But ... is it worth it?

I NEVER BS

For one of many times you've been caught-out for blatantly lying, Grossbit:

Whats your problem ?

My "problem" with you is the flip-side of why I am so interested in Factom. See above: "Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping." Though from your posts, I can see why this would be a threat.

Also, again, you need to try to avoid outright lies. FUD, but not lies. Lies can be disproven. For instance, the screenshot you provide shows a new account. "Your" total FCT trading history is 3 recent buys. What about those FCT you claimed to have bought a couple months ago? --

www.reddit.com/r/factom/comments/55x0sr/tim_draper_leads_42_million_series_a_for/d8elbe1

15BTC (as another smokescreen of "authenticity") is a drop in the bucket compared to the amount of manipulation FCT has seen recently.

Signed up just to reply.
I don't get why you are so worked up.
Yes, Factom is cheap.
Yes, there is very little liquidity.
Yes, it is manipulated.
Those who are aware and like Factom already bought in, many (if not most), on leverage. Here is the game: sell some, and pick up stops and overleveraged ones on the way down... With 700 BTC, or 420k USD you could force it down by 50%. A loss of 15 MILLION in the market cap at the price of $420k. Easy and HUGE money. Somebody has a huge chunk of Factom and moves the price to his liking. To accumulate even more. Meanwhile, many of those who just heard of Factom for the very first time are only buying Bitcoin to transfer to an exchange(takes up to a week). Give it time. It is also a good thing that Factom Inc doesn't depend on the price of Factoids, otherwise you could short it to death. Eventually it should be fine and more resistant to manipulation. Just be patient.

I don't see anything to indicate MM is accumulating. How did you come to your conclusion?

Its wishful thinking that FCT would go up to the moon in one straight vertical line

... you cannot admit that some people actually PROFIT from the market volatility

Again, you need to vary your strategy. We've already been over the whole straw-man thing, Grossbit ...
