Hi everyone,

Our apologies for the long delay in correspondence, but our team has been hard at work on our platform and has some excellent news to share. We are excited to announce that we have secured private funding that will enable us to build the beta for our platform prior to conducting our token sale. Ultimately, we feel that this is a best case scenario for both ourselves and the sports betting public at large, as we will be able to focus on development and provide a working demo of the product that should instill confidence in our ability to deliver an impeccable sports betting product.

What does this mean to our community members?
Private funding means that we are able to move quickly and deploy funds immediately towards the rapid development of our vision for the FansUnite platform. It also means that we're able to devote our full attention to hitting the milestones that we've set for ourselves in our development roadmap.

Will there still be a token sale?
Yes, there will still be a public token sale and our whitelist members will still have first access.

What progress have you made this past few weeks?
We've been able to build out our bookmaking capability to include basketball, which is now ready to be included alongside our projected opening day offerings of football, baseball, tennis, and cricket.
Our devs are also in the final stages of testing a react native mobile app for the existing free to play fansunite.com platform that will serve as a feeder platform into our sportsbook.

I joined both, but I really do not see so much news. Your Twitter sharing the same tweet, on medium the last update dates back to November 11th. You are completely absent here, and the ICO is yet to happen.
Try to look at the other ICOs, how they are managing all this things. Without a community behind the project it will be difficult to have a successful ICO in this period (although the project is very good).

It's still 8. It's a very tight knit group that work together for 12+ hours a day. We will definitely complement our team where needed.

Yes exactly. Separate venture, but ran by the same team. We will utilize the existing IP where possible to jump-start development as well.

We've been to four major conferences, and a few smaller meetups. Being based out of Vancouver, Canada, we've traveled, in the last 60 days, to Gibraltar x2, London x3, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, and Hong Kong.

Our token sale is tentatively set for December 12th - though this is not fixed in stone as we are assessing recent changes to the altcoin market climate.

So, does it have a defined date for the start of the token-sale? Will the bets be made only with the tokens, or could it be with other altcoins?

Thanks for the feedback. You'll notice on our timeline (https://fansunite.io/roadmap) that our Full Beta is actually Q3 2018 and we'll actually be grading bets with FAN at that point for the North American major sports leagues + soccer. Other leagues and native mobile applications for FansUnite won't be until 2019 per this projection but we will do our best to beat the timelines we've set out here.
