I think its good to release stuff like this .. just to see what will happen and how the network will preform 
Essentially all these coins are just the breeding ground for what is going to unseat BitCoin as #1

Ive said that all along. Granted some coins are just garbage... but its intresting seeing how difrent configs work with other configs.
I do agree this wont end well though

People bragging about it are the ones who are scared that one might make a damage to their portfolio.
It doesn't mean I'll download a client from this one though

Absolutely correct!! So far predictions about how coins will behave have not been accurate at all. Bitcoin and Litecoin have their problems. Eventually somebody will find the best set of coin parameters and that coin will dominate in the future.
How to play it? Mine them all and hold them!! There will many dogs but one will turn to "gold"!
