As for strategy and seeing where the puck is going...

Piracy is already taking tens of billions of dollars from the Film & TV industry BUT with the advent of crypto-currency and blockchain based websites that can't be shut down, that problem is about to explode.

FLIK provides the solution. A blockchain based content service which provides a MUCH better deal for the consumer while still fairly rewarding content owners.

Unfortunately the odds of the major studios being willing or able to sign the content deals necessary to mitigate the threat to their industry in a timely fashion is very small.

Your solution should be to self sandbox imo with a FLiK Alpha site that streams unlicensed content for a limited time and member period.

Eg. FLIK will limit unlicensed content to 1 million active users and for a maximum period of two years, (Dec 2019.) During that period fees will be accurately accumulated to be paid to the rightful content owners.

Within two years there will be a proliferation of blockchain based unlicensed content distributors paying NO royalties, potentially decimating an already battered content industry at which time the value proposition of FLIK will be self evident to the major studios.

But failure for FLiK to be a first mover and gain traction would likely allow the zero royalty competitors to gain an insurmountable Bitcoinesque market leader position and the opportunity for studios to provide consumers with a viable middle-ground would be lost.  

Hence why FLiK should engage in a  member & time limited content sandbox rather than spending a fortune in time & money on deals that won't be signed until the problem of zero royalty streaming  becomes too big for studios to ignore.

Walt Disney Company is a giant company with a great history and more than 10,000 employees worldwide.
It is natural that this company has all this influence, and the desire to control a larger share of the market.
Netflix is also a giant company with strong capital and is also dominant.
But cinema and TV production will be a very big market, and Flick will surely share it...
True, maybe Flik can not compete with Netflix , but nevertheless the idea will be innovative and will have its own success.
Flick will be a new idea, and will be the first competitor to Netflix . And I think the F lik will be good as I understand from Ryan- letter.
Maybe one day we will hear of cooperation between the two parties. If Flick succeeds, Netflix will have to cooperate with them.

I dont see netflix as competitor for netflix but youtube. Small series like space janitors, the guild etc can get much better return through flik than youtube. Watch the interviews and you understand.

Ryan knows what he is doing, its just that many others dont. They just see netflix and think "not going to work".

Flik has zero zip chance for going against netflix. If you bought flik because of that then you are mistaken. At best some co operation could be achieved but thats all.

Netflix has new competition. ( The Walt Disney Co ) Flik is a wasted investment, has no chance to assert himself in 2018.

Adding Fox's programming will create a bigger and more competitive streaming library.

Iger indicated that the expanded Disney company isn't necessarily interested in building a so-called "Netflix killer,". Obviously there will be an opportunity for consumers to buy [the company's streaming services] in their entirety, but we believe that the best way to serve the consumer is to let them be choosy," he said.

Flik + Netflix = unrealistic at the moment.

The price is not going down. It has actually been stable at 3-4 cents for month now. Thats actually not bad considering ICO price was 5 cents. It will go up once all weak hands have sold for loss.

Are you sure? Its price is falling too and desperation seeks in, just like any ICO token:

Flixxo sounds even bigger loss. First sell flik for loss to buy flixx and then watch flixx price go down. Its not a solution.

This is the major problem with crypto investors. They want instant returns, and don't understand that product/software development takes time. I see the same kind of FUDding and trial by public opinion on just about every ICO based token/coin I hold. Nobody has any patience, and when there isn't a daily stream of news. it turns into character assassination. Actually, even with communication it's just as brutal. One Telegram group I'm in has 18K members...CEO comes on and answers a few questions, everybody's happy, and within 30 mins it's buried under a tidal wave of FUD, with users accusing the team of never communicating. If people can't deal with HODLing/waiting a while for development, get out of crypto, or stick to day trading.
