Is Pow ever gonna stop? and go full Pos? Right now miners are dumping this coin HARD
why would it be purely POS? There will always be POW.  A pure POS coin would have the same problem.

Let them dump it.  I can't worry about the price, I have no opinion on the price.  I have no opinion on whether people should invest BTC in the coin or not.  (insert NFA/SEC disclaimer) I personally have been buying the coin here and there (not mining anymore).

I released the coin, and try to help it along as best I can.  We have several things in the works.  If others wish to help,work on increasing adoption which will entice people to invest, and miners can dump as hard as they want, then please be my guest.  Also if you would like to donate please feel free to do so.  We can create addresses in FLT or BTC (BTC is best as it is usually what we would need to purchases service, etc and eliminates use having to dump FLT for BTC) for donations.  There are some promotional and functional things we are looking at that would incur costs.

Also, the only way to stop price drops because of selling is buying.  That's how all markets work.

Some people need to sell everything they mine. I'm lucky that I can hold what I mine but some people need to sell no matter what.

The price doesn't matter, what matters is if people start catching on and using this coin. Adoption matters, the price follows afterwards. Just keep grabbing these coins up and you will be glad in a few years.

Roll Eyes What's going on? Why so much drop?

Who knows? All I know is that there's a Leafcoin and Yacoin at the same market cap level, both coins being with very little added value. All I know is the trade volume matches the trade volume of a 2 million + crypto. All I know is we have a great community and dev.

Future sounds bright.

Such is the design of Flutter Coin. Proof-of-Transaction - a feature only found in Flutter Coin, creates more opportunity for such chaos. For ex-
ample, someone sending 1000 FLT to an ecommerce site for 1 widget, could be rewarded 2000 FLT via POB, enabling this person to possibly buy an additional 2
widgets, thus enabling the ecommerce site owner to use the proceeds to buy goods or services from another party, and the ripple effects continue...

ONe more time in another words .. please--or am I only one not understanding --- and,, does it work??          ---enabling this person to possibly buy??---   I

so I send  1000  ... he recieves....1000   + rewarded 2000  Huh or   someone in system can be rewarded

Why my wallet can't sync, stopped at block 15553, win 64. Thanks for replay.

This has worked for everyone (unless they had IP filtering on)

There is nothing to fix unless one of you send me the message of why its stuck in the debug log.  I am not a mind reader unfortunately.

It is likely a forked/bad node.  I cannot reproduce it.  If it is a bad node, it will be dropped as of 4/1/2014 00:00:00 GMT

Delete all files in %appdata%\fluttercoin or ~/.fluttercoin EXCEPT wallet.dat

Make your conf file look like this:

rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
connect=54.203.244.170
connect=54.203.244.27
connect=54.199.237.235
noirc=1
dnsseed=0

Its not possible to download the wrong fork using this method.  All those nodes are operating on the correct blockchain.

Then, shutdown the wallet, and change the conf back to look like:

rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=54.203.244.170
addnode=54.203.244.27
addnode=54.199.237.235
noirc=1
listen=1
dnsseed=1
server=1

It worked, thanks!

Have a nice weekend all!  Remember or mining promo... please join our miners.  Those pioneers already found 3 blocks ;-)

The top 20 block finders until 17/04 will each be given an additional 100 FLT each.

You can visit our pool here: http://flutter.speedminer.org

Very stable pool.  Steady payouts checked every minute, Payout after 112 confirms (lower then other pools).

Now I'll buy some more on a dip! Cheesy

you should of just kept it! you mean pot gave you double?

POT can't give a double LOL, most it pays is 1/2 of the mined block (coinbase)

a .conf file identical to the one outlined by thekidcoin a few hundred times is a fix?
Also I am not sure I understand the sanity in packing a 120byte config file into a 100kb self-extracting .exe file

For those who are wondering. The file seems to be safe, it's a WinRAR self-extracting archive.

Ah ok. Why not just upload the .conf file haha. Tiny .exe files are usually not good

I made this self-extracting archive for those users who don't know how to find Appdata folder.

Ah ok. May help some people out then.

I made a scan with virustotal and 2/51 antivirus program detected a virus/trojan. Could be false positives though, as it's only 2 out of 51: https://www.virustotal.com/de/file/5617b96681fe99707562220805e84c23d7934ca876c5b0d21a27260d010c10a0/analysis/1395953621/

The simplest way to find the appdata folder is to type %appdata% into the windows search box.
