Why is everyone selling? This coin is the first of it's kind. guess no one values its functions, yet?
Most of those "everyone" are multipools who automatically convert the mined coins of their users into btc. And as long as the price and hashrate are so low and the mining keeps being so profitable they will keep mining and selling fluttercoins.
But I don't really see this as a problem. At least not a problem we can easily fix without other big miners mining fluttercoin permanently and making it unprofitable to mine fluttercoin for the multipools. Anyway it's not that much coins, you can see the price is rising. And every day Fluttercoin gets new people interested who are willing to invest in it, so the more time goes by, the smaller the "problem" becomes. Actually I think it's a good thing. The multipools push the trade volume.  Wink

Cheers

Yup and now there's also the BC multipool which will dump FLT if it is most profitable... FLT might want to make a similar multipool at some point. eat or be eaten  Undecided

When does the Proof-of-Stake kick in? As in After how many days, mintcoin is 20 days, cachecoin is 7 days, what if fluttercoin's minimum time to stake?

The Fluttercoin official website is now up and running, needs some polishing here and there but it looks great.  Thanks to lumeire!

Well done! The website looks great  Smiley

Wallet is not synching past 15553!

...maybe this will get your attention. Tried different approaches, one of which was using only the block explorer links as nodes. In this last attempt i got a beautiful "WARNING: Invalid checkpoint found! Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need  to upgrade, or notify developers." message instead of the normal green "Synchronizing with network..." bar.
Same problem here. I got the latest wallet version.

I tried 32 and 64 version and I tried the dnsseed thing.
I wonder if you guys are the only ones having this issue... everything's working fine on my end and client.

It's strange that so many people are having troubles syncing their wallet.

If you are, I suggest doing the old trick.
-Close Wallet.
-Go to roaming folder, delete everything but wallet.dat and .conf.
-my .conf looks like this: (I didn't add the noirc line from OP, but I have deamon)
Quote
rpcuser=youruser
rpcpassword=xyz
server=1
daemon=1
addnode=54.203.244.170
addnode=54.203.244.27
addnode=54.199.237.235
listen=1
dnsseed=1
-Reopen wallet.

Yeah, maybe try this, I also have the daemon=1 line in my conf file. However, I also have the noirc=1 line and it's been fine for me.

Thanks, trying this now and will let you know.

I've downloaded the latest wallet, but it will not sync.  It stuck at 12236 blocks remaining.

My fluttercoin.conf file looks like this:

rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=54.203.244.170
addnode=54.203.244.27
addnode=54.199.237.235
noirc=1
listen=1
dnsseed=1
server=1

Try changing dnsseed to 0 then delete blockchain and open wallet and download blockchain if it syncs all the way without getting stuck change the dnsseed back to 1. That was an issue before, but that was on an older version of the wallet, might as well try it though...

Come and have a flutter with the CrunchHarder FlutterCoin Pool for security, redundancy and stability.

Are you sure you're opening the newest wallet? When we forked for version 0.4.5.2 I downloaded the wallet but neglected to delete the old wallet (0.4.5.1) and when I was trying to run the new wallet I was actually in the wrong folder running the old wallet, thus giving me invalid checkpoint errors and getting stuck. Took me a while to realize my own stupidity on that one. I'm sure you're not doing this, but you never know, worth mentioning maybe.

Honestly, if you've backed up your wallet.dat, deleted and re-downloaded the block chain and that didn't fix it, I'm not sure what else to do. Maybe try restoring on a different computer?

and if that was the problem, i don't think he will come back and tell us. not after berating us for not immediately helping.

Only time I have seen that is when I was on the old wallet. Once I downloaded the new wallet, that error was gone.

I don't think any of us have the technical knowledge to help. I would try to import the key using a different computer if one is available
