Hey everyone! We have to post pone the meeting until next sunday due to some work related issues. Please join us next sunday at 3pm EST for the public meeting
The second and third acknowledged folders are SalimNagamato and K210 who have been folding for individual 257 and 277 days now!
They are awarded with the Hero Folder Badge and will be rewarded 5000 FLDC!
The first acknowledged folder is Xandry who has been folding for 120 days now! He is awarded with the Senior Folder Badge and will be awarded 1000 FLDC!
Me and Jona will get together before the public meeting tomorrow to figure out the best way to do this before its ready on the stats page. Once its ready on the stats page it will be seamless. Looks like I have been folding since the beginning of March.
How can i know month when i start folding? And how to calculate overall folding time?We are working on a way to have this done automatically with the new stats page

It might be easier to just have Robert do a mass distribution of 500 FLDC each month for anyone who did any folding for that month. This seems like it would be the easiest interim solution until the process is automated. Folders who don't earn a lot of FLDC or who are just starting out will then get the reward.
The idea is to reward the people that have folded for a very long time and also acknowledge their level of Folding. I think the easiest solution would be to already reward the people that would like to be checked.

Start of FoldingCoin Dedication Reward
As an automatic system is still gonna take a while, I would like to already start rewarding the dedicated followers. If you´re a Folder and would like to be acknowledged for this, I can manually check the amount of days the address has been folding. You can send me a message to apply for one of the following levels :
Level 1: Junior Folder 0-30 Days
Level 2: Folder 31-100 Days - 500 FLDC REWARD
Level 3: Senior Folder 101-200 Days - 1000 FLDC REWARD
Level 4: Hero Folder 201-363 Days - 5000 FLDC REWARD
Level 5: Legendary Folder 364-727 (1 full year) - 10000 FLDC REWARD
The price is down to 20 satoshi some big holder just sold off 3.5m fldc, perhaps some type of incentive is needed to create buy pressure? If this keeps up <10 satoshi is very possible.
3,5 million coins is a considerable amount of coins to dump, so at least we have a speculator gone. Due to work business of Robert and me, we have bit been as active lately, so I'm gonna see this as a code yellow. We will really need to step up the game to get Foldingcoin in an upward motion again. We are both aware we need more time to focus, so are preparing to be able to do so.
Any suggestions from the community what you would like to see?
In my opinion foldingcoin needs to do 2 things - promote and create a use case. Foldingcoin is a great idea but it needs some more promotion to get to where it should be, running banner ads on crypto sites and perhaps having a interview with a crypto news outlet like cointelegraph would be great ways to increase awareness.
Apart from this foldingcoin as a coin needs to differentiate from the 1000s of crapcoins out there by creating a use case, the online store is a good use case but there needs to be more items on there and it needs to be made more user friendly and easier to use.

Dont have something to mine properly but I bought some coins...it helps a bit to keep the price. When I have a bit more BTC I´ll go for more!
