The Fr8 Protocol defines the four necessary components a shipping, credit, or
insurance contract must contain — for any stakeholder in any region. Clear standards
enable new efficiencies and capabilities for logistics systems worldwide.
Data Standards
Communication standards create a single source of truth regarding a shipment's location,
state, and contents for coordinating multi-party workflows. Documentation standards shift
the marketplace away from costly physical paper and into the digital era.
Payment Standards
Bitcoin showed the capacity of blockchain technology to transfer value programmatically.
The Fr8 Protocol for settlement defines payment terms that are enforceable across the
instances of applications built using the Fr8 Protocol.
Regulatory Standards
Regulatory bodies publish embargoes, tariffs, customs requirements, and more at intervals
that make it very challenging to remain compliant. Fr8 Protocol
enables baking this data into the base level of contracts.
Cybersecurity Standards
Fr8 Protocol defines how information systems interact with the blockchain
