Lol I love the keyword that you guys have used "EOS Killer"

I have heard a lot in Korea about this project and looks quite promising to me. Yesterday I was attending a blockchain meetup in Seoul and there came to know about you guys. What a great team and idea.

Could you please tell more about your smart contract creating algorithm? I was reading your white paper but still have doubt when you talk about the way its different than Ethereum and EOS.

Thanks a lot. well here is how we differ than both Ethereum and EOS and many other blockchains claiming higher TPS.

In order to execute a smart contract on Ethereum and EOS, for example, the contract must be uploaded on the mainnet server after program coding for compile, and this kind of development process is time-consuming and complex. With Futurepia, on the other hand, the DApp developer simply has to call the API, provided by the mainnet, from its development environment, which facilitates the development process.  From the perspective of DApp developers, this is a very fast and stable development environment. In the future, support will be provided for immediate execution of smart contracts using SQL commands through the database provided together with the blockchain service.

I see, but do you have already DApps running on your mainnet? And when is mainnet or listing coming in the future?

The mainnet and listing will both happen in Q1. You can try the testnet for both windows and linux by visiting

Establishment of ‘Sigmachain’ — A milestone in IT industry
While working on distributed networks in 2015, Kwak established the company what currently known as Sigmachain by discovering the distributed and decentralized features of blockchain network. He explained,

“In 2015, we were developing a new concept of a mobile application that can allow users to send and receive movies and large amounts of data unlimitedly by using individual servers instead of a central server through the distributed network. The advantage of using a distributed network is that the excessive network traffic can be split and the cost of server expansion was significantly reduced. It was that time when we found the relationship between distributed networks and block-chain technology, and we established the Sigmachain with a philosophy to be the pioneer in bringing the great uses of this technology in everyday life.”

It didn't make a noise even for it being an EOS killer lol so much for the advertising, I wonder if they get the funds since november. Why do you have to kill EOS?
If its due to the bear market that this project didn't make much noise then it deserves a second chance but perhaps when they list the token. Its team members looks legit.

Lol I loved your question when you said "Why do you have to kill EOS"?

Actually for me blockchain rather any sort of technology works on the principle of "Survival of the fittest". Facebook killed Orkut, MySpace and now even Google+ couldn't stand against it. iPhone killed Motorolla, Nokia and now will kill Pixels. The same way, even though EOS was the first comer, but the better technology has the chance to eradicate it if has the potential edge over its competitor.

And in case of Futurepia yeah we do.... Esp with 300,000 TPS.

Secondly about creating hype, yeah since we were late comers and the market was bearish when we did the Private T.G.E. We did raise enough funds to keep working on the development than just hiring a bunch of marketing team to gain Telegram followers Smiley Most of the times, Those who thunder don’t pour Smiley

While blockchain was once known merely as the building blocks used to make bitcoin, it’s now being hailed as a world-changing technology. The past year has seen a huge rise in companies using the blockchain to form innovative, decentralized businesses. However, one of the largest trends we’ve seen is the prominence of blockchain social media apps.

1- Dtube
Dtube is the decentralized Youtube (although it’s not a project by Google). Users are allowed to upload videos and get rewards in the shape of crypto tokens for uploading quality contents. Since DTube is made on the blockchain, just like Bitcoin, it follows the same rules of secure, decentralized, list of record keeping. On the other hand, since the TPS speed is quite low, uploading content on DTube can take forever especially if your video is more than 10 minutes.

2. Sphere
Sphere.social or simply Sphere was also built with an aim to tackle privacy, company transparency, and data security. It gives people the power to express their mind and every time they post quality content, they get compensated. Unlike others, the good thing with the Sphere is that it is cellphone-based and can be downloaded on both AppStore and Google Play.

3. Futurepia Messenger
Futurepia Messenger is a Dapp that is expected to revolutionize the way creators, curators and users make money online. With the features like beautiful optimized UI/UX, a user-friendly and fresh design, Futurepia Messenger is mobile and desktop based which is x100 times faster than Steemit. Not only that people can upload all 3 kinds of contents: text, photo, and video. Futurepia Messenger will be rolled out in a couple of weeks.

4. Sapien
Sapien is a highly customizable and democratized social news platform capable of rewarding millions of content creators and curators. Sapien is more like Reddit, where people upload news in the shape of text or URL. There is no way to upload images or videos for the time-being.

5. Yours.org
Yours is a social network where you can earn Bitcoin SV if you create value. According to them, their mission is to improve the quality of content on the internet and to get people paid for doing the work they love. Although the idea is pretty much the same with other platforms, Yours is not known to many people and would probably die in near future especially after the release of Futurepia Messenger Dapp.

Let us know which one of the above alternatives is your favorite one. For me, definitely, Futurepia Messenger is the winner Smiley

Futurepia Messenger — The Best Alternative to Steemit

After the popularity of Steemit, lots of DApps came up in the blockchain space offering incentives to people for uploading quality content and being active users of the DApps but there is still hardly any good alternative to Steemit, until now, when Futurepia decided to launch their own DApp.

Futurepia — being the fastest blockchain with 300,000 TPS Speed have recently won the title of the ‘most innovative blockchain’ during Blockchain Leadership Summit in Switzerland. Before the launch of mainnet, Futurepia decided to launch one of their first Dapp, Futurepia Messenger, that will revolutionize the way content compensation model works.

The Dapp is considered to be the competitor of Steemit where everyone will get paid for creating and curating content in a much better way. Comparing both the Dapps following differences can be found:

1) Interface
Futurepia Messenger has a beautiful optimized UI/UX, a user-friendly and fresh design whereas if you have used Steemit, you’d agree that the interface is pretty dull and boring.

2) Content
On Futurepia Messenger, users can upload Photo, Text, and Video while on Steemit you can only upload Text and Photo.

3) Compatibility
Futurepia Messenger is x100 times faster than Steemit and is mobile based. Its desktop version will also be released in near future. On the other hand, Steemit only offers a web-based version.

4) Betting
On Futurepia Messenger, users can bet on the quality content and earn rewards for their successful bet. On the other hand, betting feature is not available on Steemit.

Check out a comparison of both the Dapps and find out why “Futurepia Messenger” will win the battle against “Steemit”

Top 5 Promising Blockchain Projects In South Korea

Blockchain and cryptocurrencies are among the few divided subjects in South Korea. Yet there would be hardly any Korean who doesn’t know about these buzzwords. Ofcourse, Korea is one of the hottest crypto-markets responsible for more than 30% of the world’s cryptocurrency trading volume. Buying and selling of Altcoins is bread and butter of many Koreans despite the ban on ICOs back in 2017. However, with the expertise in technology and infrastructure, the crypto scene has skyrocketed making Korea the cryptocurrency hub of the world.

Within the last 2 years, lots of blockchain projects have popped up from various industries ranging from government, finance, banking, health, gaming, gambling, and sports. Here we present you the top 5 promising blockchain projects in South Korea.

1) ICON — also known as Korea’s Coin
ICON is the most valuable blockchain project in South Korea. They were managed to raise 150,000 ETH during the successful ICO last September and by now, with the market cap of around 100,000,000 USD, it is ranked among the top 40 cryptocurrencies in the world and has been the only Korean project to make it to top 100 currencies listed on CoinMarketCap. ICON provides blockchain platform for industries like industries banks, insurance, games, universities, and hospitals.

2) FANTOM
FANTOM is the world’s first DAG based smart contract platform that solves the issue of scalability and confirmation time of the existing blockchain technology. Their token sale ended in June 2018 and they were able to successfully raised around $39,653,398 of $39,400,000 (101%). They aim to solve existing problems related to supply-chain management, food, telecom, banking, and real estate.

3) KORBIT
Korbit is the world’s first cryptocurrency exchange offering bitcoin-korean won exchange. Coin holders, (or should we say HODLERS due to current market) can easily exchange the cryptocurrencies on the secured web platform. Since Koreans have invested in altcoins more than anyother nation, this exchange is quite popular among the locals. They were also managed to raise $3.6 million from top investors and crypto-enthusiasts.

4) Futurepia - EOS Killer
Futurepia is a blockchain designed especially for high traffic DApps while solving the problems of security, speed and scalability of existing solutions. Futurepia.io has developed a new DDPoS (Dual Delegated Proof of Stake) algorithm (patent pending) which is a considerable improvement over DPoS (EOS) both in terms of scalability and security. The mainnet has already been released and has demonstrated 300k transactions per second in the test environment (certified by KOLAS).
Recently Futurepia has won the “Blockchain Innovation Award” in Seoul and won the 1st place at “Blockchain Leadership Summit” in Switzerland.

5) Cosmochain
In simple words, Cosmochain can be called as Instagram on blockchain designed especially for cosmetic lovers. Cosmochain took the advantage of massive Korean beauty market and decided to build the DApp connecting customers and industries through a coin ecosystem. Users will be able to gain coins and earn tokens by actively using the DApp, commenting on other users’ pictures and voting for their favorite content. Cosmochain was also able to conduct a successful ICO and few major cryptofunds invested in it including #Hashed.

Futurepia Vs EOS Vs Ethereum. Who’s Gonna Win The War?

Blockchain isn’t about cryptocurrency, it has become a way of life now, which will find its use in almost every sector of life from public sector to private and from banking to social media applications. But choosing a right blockchain mainnet is not easy, rather a difficult to decide yet very important for any blockchain project. While deciding which mainnet to go for, DApps or other blockchain projects always keep in mind alteast these 3 aspects:

TPS (Transaction per second) Speed
Scalability
Security
It can be seen it the last few years that Ethereum and EOS have faced immense issues when they were trying to increase the speed and security of their platforms. In order to better understand the issues, let’s first dive into the algorithm or the consensus models on which these blockchains work.

Bitcoin works on PoW (Proof of Work) — safer but slowest
Ethereum works on PoS (Proof of Stake) — less safe but faster than PoW
EOS works on DPoS (Deligated Proof of Stake) — least safe but faster
Futurepia works on DDPoS (Dual Delegated Proof of Stake) — safest and fastest

For a detailed comparison, read the article here.

Futurepia’s mainnet DDPoS algorithm has surpassed the processing speed of both PoS and DPoS platforms. While Ethereum has 15 TPS, EOS has around 100,000 TPS, Futurepia’s mainnet is expected to handle 300,000 TPS.

You can find a detailed comparison here;

https://medium.com/futurepia/futurepia-vs-eos-vs-ethereum-797212c6aa7f

Hence, the answer is obvious - Futurepia is the next EOS Killer.
