C'mon guys my pool is up and running well. The sooner I can get hold of a stable hashrate, the sooner I can open up the old pool and confirm the withdrawals and reenable ppa

Now that is useful information to have. At least I understand a little better what is going on. I have no problem with continued support as long as we don't end up back where we were....
The last 10blocks or so have been well less than 10min apart, many only 2min how much better do you want it?

When I posted before we were over an hour per block... checking times of posts might help you to be less snarky...

Sigh... Anyone want to mine p2pool for a change? I'm on ~32 KH/s in p2pool... (Nvidia GT630M, i5-3337U)
p2pool is really only good when a coin is starting out, after that most people move over to a normal pool. If the p2pool you are on doesn't have a couple of MH/s you are going to take ages to get any coins.

OK, nevermind... I just realized that we are at an hour per friggin block... so tired of the problems on this coin...

The average block time is calculated over the space of 576 blocks which should be a timespan of approximately 24 hours and in that it is doing as it should. The block spacing is being calculated correctly, large periods of low difficulty have to be counterbalanced (and vice-versa) to try and maintain an average of 576 blocks per day.

Checking the average for the last 576 blocks may make it react a little slowly but it's much more stable than it was previously when it was jumping between a 3 and 9 difficulty with nothing inbetween.

I'll most likely reduce the average to a smaller number of blocks in the future but for now I've had my fill of releasing mandatory updates every other day. The blocks and therefore transactions are moving, that's the main thing.

What GameCoin really needs is a dedicated network of users who continue to mine it consistently so that the difficulty can find it's sweet spot.

In case anyone's missed it my GME pools been up all this time and found plenty of blocks, its available here:

http://ctompo.dyndns.org/gmemine/public

Alternatively you can sign up at http://ctompo.dyndns.org:8083/Tompool and have access to all my pools, plus the multipool.

Please take note that auto payouts are disabled until GME is back on Cryptsy as I don't know what will happen if the coins are paid out to a disabled Cryptsy account.

The block explorer seems to suggest the average block time is around 20min. for the last dozen 10 blocks or so, it will get 10% faster every 12 blocks until back to normal.

Not too surprising in that if the miners can't sell the coin then why mine it.

In time, the exchange will return and the difficulty will rise.  I for one will be enjoying the low diff.

Edit: Just checked Cryptsy ....  It's back....
