This is the new official Gamecoin thread with regular updates.
If you haven't heard about Gamecoin yet, prepare yourself for it. It was almost a couple of months ago when major interest started developing around digital currencies focused on niche areas. Gamecoin or GME is the one that's set to be talked about and used extensively in 2014 and beyond. With zero premine, exclusive development projects and an ever expanding active community, Gamecoin is set to provide great value.

Currently being developed is a peer-to-peer gaming client which will allow users to make p2p bets and subsequently other games. Also in development is a tracking mechanism for p2p games, similar to the way torrent tracker sites work. This is a whole new kind of gaming industry, one which requires a more straightforward payment system, and the developments are being driven by the Gamecoin community. Developments such as the imminent tracker sites for this p2p betting mechanism and more besides mean that as all of this rolls out the value will rise too.
Update: We haven't made any progress on this yet. The developer has stopped responding.

We expect to be on atleast 2 other major exchanges with GME/BTC pairs available on each of them. That should expand the reach of Gamecoin to new levels. The time to get on to Gamecoin is right now.
