You and me both @kraterion! It really could change how we all use points, discounts, and rewards around the world! These partnerships (like the one with SK Planet Japan) take a lot of hard work and time--we're very lucky to have such a strong team behind GATCOIN to have organized this. The team is still in discussions with other large organizations which will help expand the network. Unfortunately, we can't discuss who or where this will be at the moment. But I believe that with our dedicated efforts and organic growth that other merchants around the world (and hopefully in Europe too) will also soon join the GAT System.

But to give a quick summary… GATCOIN will create a single platform to organize rewards points and discounts for all merchants and retailers. Customers who get rewards points from different companies (for example, hotels and coffee shops) can keep these in their app/wallet and trade the points on the GAT Exchange for the goods and services they truly want. Merchants gain more marketing options and can target customers based on age, demographics, and spending habits. Also, GATCOIN offers the airdrop feature to release coins to potential customers within a certain area and based on demographic/spending criteria. Moreover, we are designing this to be an easy-to-use, turnkey solution for retailers so that companies who aren’t tech savvy can get setup on the platform fast.

Of course, this all depends on the size of the network of retailers using GATCOIN. Fortunately, we already have a partnership with SK Planet Japan so that when we launch the full platform it will immediately be used at 21 major international and local brands in Japan with a network of over 30,000 retail stores, 80,000 restaurants and 60,000 beauty outlets.

You are right, but today it is not so easy to get listed on the big exchanges, so for the beginning also a middle exchange is fine.
Thee most important is to develop the usecases for a coin, most coins simply have no usecase.

I think you shouldn't.

It needs time for a coin to be listed on big exchanger like bittrex or poloniex. The other way is to pay big amount of money to the exchanger just to make the coin tradeable. But following the normal cyrcle will be better than to be listed instantly.

but if you want to list on bittrex you need prove your coin is strong. or ICO have many people joined. look at BAT get list on bittrex under 1 month.

No. You are not right. better one more big exchange (like Bittrex), than few small exchange. Look to a lot of coin. Toekns on a small exchanges (without big) dies. If tokens listed at last at one big exchanges - more and more people knowing about this token and price growing.

anyway, need waiting the finish of ICO, after this we will see the growth dynamics of the coin on etherdelta,
and there I think, top exchanges themselves will show interest , only time is needed

Large exchange like Bittrex doesn't accept a new finish ICO coin project since they want the coin to be listed is been establish and have a decent volume on their first exchange. But anyways novaexchange,liqui,cryptopia will be a good start for them.

Better is a small exchange than none at all. At the beginning of the development of the project several small exchanges are quite good than to expect one large exchange.

this will definitely be good for marketing departments ,wherever implemented, as a reward structure.

Indeed, that would be a great help after the project runs. But in the end you couldn't trade there, because the exchange in the app is like every other exchange, right? Like you have to make offers and you can take otherones offers, but you can't see who is making this.
