I just read the news about the delayed token sale. I think it is a good move. More and more people are expecting demos now from ICOs.
Yes, and with the forks coming, people don't really wanna invest in cryptos right now and prefer to wait for November.
From what I have read, there is really nothing to be afraid of, but I understand the delayed token sale. I think its a good move..
yeah, they can't quite compete with large, scene altering events like bitcoin/ether hardforks. people will be focused on those to be sure.

You are right if investors are converting their fiat money into GATCOIN, but I am not so sure about people already invested in crypto after seeing the Ethereum price in BTC. It is exceptionally low, so you can get a lot more ETH for your Bitcoin then a month ago. After the fork Ethereum and Bitcoin may revert to their pre-hype prices again.

This demonstration app is really important for the ICO!
Getting a working app is important for the investors, they would like to see how everything will work and look. So devs should take there time to make everything work as it should be!

Even though I was a bit sceptical at first when I heard that the ICO will be postponed till mid-December, I must say you are right. A working demo would definitely be worth to wait that long and will help to convince more people of GATCOIN.

On demonstration app you will use COTOCO vouchers already or some fake vouchers just to demonstrate how it works ? I hope COTOCO's , it will look more professional imo!
I dont think they will have an actual merchant token for beta version but they might just create a demonstration tokens for you to trade it around just to get a feeling how it will all function.

Nice to have an update from the gatcoin team, now we see the date of different phase of the token sale. October 28th is a good date for the pre sale, it’s after the snapshot of bitcoin for the fork, I think more people will be ready to invest in ico. And with a 20% gatcoin pre sale will interest a lot of people.
The real drama isn't Bitcoin Gold, it's s2x fork on 1st november. But the important thing is that they postponed main token sale because they're developing the demo app
