Yes exactly. Only this will be an "internal coin" that will be addressed inside the GATCOIN system. To take its value, you will need to exchange this coin for GATCOIN, which you can already sell on exchanges.
You will be also able to exchange internal token for any other merchants token. Important thing to keep in mind here is that someone will always need to buy off your initial token to keep its value up otherwise the value would be artificial.

China people cant participate in the ICO? Hm.. its may be better, because they will want buy on the exchange than
China banned all ICO's so the citizens cant participate.
They can buy from exchanges when cryptocurrencies are regulated in China and if its regulated after ICO its a good thing for the investors

We will know for sure after the 18th of October. I expect them to regulate everything and release some sore of China Digital Coin. I don't think they will allow ICO participations if they can't control it....
Nevertheless we've seen that all china trades have moved to Japan.. so I expect the people who want to invest (China) will do so via Japan. So this is actually a non issue imho.

Yes it would be so useful if you could switch your miles from one bonus program to another one. I currently collect some, but I often fly with different companies because I watch out for cheap prices ... So it's hard to collect many in one program.
Colleting your miles from differents companies would be great.
I'm also a traveller who looks for the cheapest prices.

But it's good to see that they do advertisment to get a bigger user base/investor base.
I really want to see the hype when they will be available in the Japanese market. Probably Japanese people will skyrocket the price when it happens.

That program is ancient but huge, and I think it could really use a breath of fresh air. They have begun a downward spiral by having the collected points expire sooner.

well, a little airdrop campaign for gatcoin tokens will be really nice and could spread the awareness of this project even more >< just a little amount would be perfect >< hrrr
If ICO has already been announced, and then airdrop is suddenly announced, it will be perceived as a decrease in the value of the project, and not as a spread to attract attention. So it's hardly necessary to do this.
I agree with you. Airdrop is not a good idea while ICO is near. Airdrop should be used for the marketing purpose but not when ICO is yet to start.
I also think airdrop would not be good for such kind of project and with this time schedule. This project needs real investors.
An airdrop would be good to be done in Asia, or Japan, where actually common people outside cryptos would actually know the project and start to use it, THEN it would be good, but doing it here, won't bring any benefits, just a bunch of people dumping the price when it hit exchanges, so yeah, no airdrops here.

There is lots of ways to marketing. I believe airdrop will not be a good way. But they have a capable team and i believe they will choose the best strategy for it.
I think Airdrop is a good idea but with certain conditions just like the one implemented by BTS..etc.
