So am I right that the coins can be mined throughout many years?
Hope that does not give to much sell pressure. Thats why most coins go POS these days to keep sustaining the pricelevels and prevent miners do dump.
Yesterday the block explorer didnt work. Wanted to know the actual amount of coins in circulation now and how many are mined each day.

It will approximately take 9 years for a total of 5 million coins to be mined.

I understand the apprehension about POW, but block reward is low and a 5 million cap will prevent too much inflation.
Very very slow inflation. This is the cause of absence of the sell pressure. If to speak about the price, this coin could moon to hundreds of sat.

You could pm Tobler or Gizfreak for access to the slack discussion group.
Also Poloniex did a code review and decided to add GEO, but shoot Tobler a pm for more information.
For what it's worth, I personally can confirm without any reservation that the tech is real and working. There is no vaporware here. Currently a handful of users are testing the alpha release in preparation for the beta to be released on April 7th.

There are so many possibilities for this coin. I always laugh when people demand to know "whats the plan?". It is soooo early on in crypto. No one knows whats going to happen.
The 1 thing that I know 110% for sure is that crypto is the future of everything.
