I just got an email overnight saying they are going to introduce verification of ID and they won't process deposits until that happens.

maybe this is a good development for cryptocurrency, but I disagree if btc is used as a salary for workers. Why, the value of btc coins always experiences great pluctuation and it's not good as a payment instrument.

I probably can't make it to Thursday's meet-up in the City, you should bring some business cards along, Simon didn't have any at the meet-up in May.

Are you in Australia or if not do you have any services like this available to you in your country?

It has been a great service to me with a excellent team running things behind the scenes.

Just logged into my account and was surprised to see a few changes i wanted.
2fa can now be set up and also a feature to send a nominated percent of your btc paycheck to cold storag.
These are just the sort of changes i wanted to see, thanks guys I'm sure you worked hard getting it all implemented.

I have been with this company for months now and i couldn't be happier, highly recommend  Smiley

Good news for the australians. How about your project in other country?
We don't have banking relationships in other countries yet.  Don't want to expand too soon.

Is this something you are looking to do in the future? What benchmarks are you first trying to achieve in Australia before expansion? I imagine expanding into Europe will be easier than America.

Its more about risk and processes.  Make sure we learn and are sure our practices and software are secure and stable before taking on my customers and risk.  Also we need to make sure these processes are streamlined and scalable.

Hi doof,

Is $500 AUD still the max limit we can transfer or has the limit been bumped up again, if not any news on when this may increase again?
If $00 is the limit will the cents i have to add to the transaction so you know who the fiat cash came from affect it since this would just take it over the limit?
Did you speak to Adam about this?  We can increase the limit on a case by case basis.  Send Adam an email on [email protected] to confirm.
Cheers mate, i will get in contact with him now and see what can be arranged.

Also just a quick question about the sending and receiving addresses.
I know that i can change my receiving address and add more than 1 but will the sending address change at any time?

I have noticed that all payments to my wallet have come from the same address, that address currently does not have the balance to cover the bitcoin i have coming this fortnight, it looks as though this address may pay a couple of other people to but I'm guessing by the payments that it is not all the customers on your books, is this address automatically funded once a payment from my paycheck reaches your account?
(You don't need to answer these questions if they could be a security threat in any way)

Yes it will.  Most coins are stored in a HD Msig wallet.  The hot wallet to send to customers isn't HD yet.  We are looking to making that part Msig + HD too.

Furthermore, we will be implementing HD wallets on the receivers end too.  The user will just be able to add the ExtPubKey instead of a Bitcoin Address.  This will give more privacy for the user.

However, we just need more testing on this.  We don't want to send customers coins to wrong addresses.

Are there any plans to implement a 2fa option on users accounts?
I think it would be a good security addition.
Yes, its on the back log.  Other things coming soon, PGP signed emails.  Payouts to HD wallets for extra privacy.  And looking at BitID for authentication.

Great to see users suggesting feedback so we know where to focus our devleopment.

Also news is now fixed so we will announce new features there.
Thanks for the updates.
2fa is a must with these type of accounts.

I will also be upping my transfer limit this week to about $400 AUD

This is a fantastic service and i'll be sticking with it.
Cheapest way to purchase bitcoins out  Smiley

Thanks for the feedback, great to hear!   We will be implementing PGP signed / encrypted emails soon.  Also confirm emails on actions like changing BTC addresses (2fa)

Sprint 8 is coming along well.  Stay tuned for updates.
Hi doof,
Do we have any ETA on when 2fa and PGP signed emails may be released?
I was thinking that 2fa is probably not a huge thing since none of my own coins or private keys are stored within my account, still be good to have the option though but no rush.

Sorry for the late reply.  Sprint 8 has been completed and deployed.  This includes 2fa, but not PGP signed or encrypted emails just yet.  We are looking at ways to download users PubKey from places like MIT key server.  A full list of changes can be found on the news page.  That said, we have some performance issues on the site we are working through.
