ICO Review: Gambling Investment Fund Coin (GIFCoin)
In a novel and welcome twist to the average ICO, the online betting portal VitalBet is launching the GIFCoin token. “GIF” stands for Gambling Investment Fund and the token is a fund-raising exercise for a profitable going concern.
Operating in the lucrative online gaming arena, VitalBet already has a share of the annual $533 billion global gaming industry.
The company’s origins stem from the creation of a small team circa 2011, which was initially centered around affiliate marketing. After many associations, the company’s research pointed to the profitability of the betting and gambling arena. From that focus on producing bookmaker and gaming website catalogs in their home country of Bulgaria, six months later VitalBet penetrated the UK gaming market by producing betting affiliate catalogs. By 2015, a number of countries had been added to VitalBet’s client portfolio.
From a peripheral service provider’s point of observation, the company realized that it needed to develop a standalone betting site as “being [the] owner of a bookie was something very profitable and powerful.” The company concluded its research at the end of 2014, enlisting site builders and opting for an ICO model in late 2017 to further expansion.
At the outset of 2017, VitalBet also decided to accommodate the upswing in cryptocurrencies and added bitcoin as a transactional currency to the site. Players are now able to both transact with bitcoin on the portal and also place bets with the virtual coin. From there, it was a short step to employing the ERC-20 protocol of the Ethereum platform in order to pitch the GIFCoin ICO.
VitalBet’s primary focus in the ICO is an aggressive advertising and marketing campaign through which it hopes to grow its user base substantially. The company has ambitious plans to enter the ranks of the top 15 bookmakers worldwide, each of which collects around $750 million per annum.

I really like the fact that GIF already has a fully operational platform, it is a profitable base for both investors and the future platform.
I take it you mean the VitalBet.com website? Yeah it's pretty great that we are investing in a project that has a solid working product that turns over millions of profit every year and has thousands of active users.
20%? I checked last time and it was mentioned that 80% profit will be shared with investors. BTW how is token sale is going on ? Stage 3 completed already?
Last time I looked it was 80% aswell, and that was one of the main sellings points for this project, is the high payment of profits distributed to investors/users
Why you say "80% only"? Its huge. Nobody share it like that. I really believe its true. Thats why I am part of the GIFCoin community. If they start progressing in the development, the profit will be huge. GIFCoin is for HODLers to reap full benefits.
Yes 80% is huge. There is lot of money in gambling industry and I expect GIF coin to earn millions of dollars profit per year. Thats why I also invested in GIFcoin.
Lol yeah, they company has to make some profit, if they gave away 100% of the websites earnings, that would be pointless. If you check the Whitepaper their aim is that every token you own will generate you $0.90 a year in dividends essentially.
Wow! and that's like 9000$ to those that own up to 10000 token, super cool and a must have token if you ask me, i am actually quite excited

I would really like to see the success of this project. I think this platform will be able to resolve the situation in the gambling market
I think with the advent of the blockchain it becomes possible. And also the fraud and deceit of the players should stop.Wow, I don't have much knowledge about gambling and online gambling so this comes as a surprise to me, knowing that gambling too have the challenge of fraud. This seem to be present in most aspects of life that involves humans.
Well, the best approach to this is to guarantee security to users, i must admit, the digital world is a pretty nasty place but can be very good once you hit a profitable venture, so far, i've not seen any report of flaws from the parent project, which is vitalbet, if there was, i believe we must have witness an accusation by now
Yes in deed, but one does not need to see a flaw before taking measures. The rate at which fraudulent activities happen in these times have become alarming and every sector (especially ones that operate digitally) needs to take extra measures.

Extension of ICO? You mean GIFcoin is going to extend ICO? I don't think it's needed. Token sale is going at good speed and GIF will hit softcap soon.
I was expecting stage 3 token sale to be finished by yesterday evening. Still few tokens left. GIFcoin token sale is bit slow now. But i still think softcap will be reached before ico end date.
The GIFcoin has certainly done well in the last week for sales, I hope it continues and the hard cap is reached. I don't see an need for the extension of ICO unless they were determined to hit the hard cap.
Either way this project will hit the softcap regardless and I really look forward to seeing some progression with the VitalBet system

I think this is a reasonable solution, maybe even by May the market will return to normal prices for crypto

The use of Blockchain technology will ensure maximum security for each user and make the game more exciting.
Quite strange to hear such a question here. What else is needed for the blockchain in the project, where there are constant payments of money, transfers, accruals and so on ...
