I have no problems with whales. I see it this way, when whales invest in an ico, then it can not be a bad project. They mostly know what they are doing. and when you have invested then you have usually already won

I agree whales also buy a lot so the project improves very fast from whales and like faulerwilli said whales know what they are doing when investing a big amount in a project.

Yes, If they will not reach their soft cap target then they have to refund all funds which is they received from investors. That's why they have to reach softcap. Hardcap is not big issue, because as per my knowledge if they will not reach hard cap so they can burn unsold tokens if they planned.

Once the softcap is reached they can already do a lot the hardcap is just the maximum they think they would need but they can already start the project if they reach the softcap.
