Regarding WTT token renting and selling.. We do not have anything to do with WTT token exchanges after purchase. There are four batches of tokens being released to their buyers (2nd batch just got distributed). The tokens will trade on exchanges once all token distribution is completed which will be late 2017.

I've been following themon Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/gigawatt_mining/ As far as I understand, if you're located in USA, you are able to go and visit the plant?

Anyone is invited to come see our facilities in East Wenatchee, WA, USA. We hold scheduled tour days twice a month that fill up pretty quick, if interested please go to https://www.eventbrite.com/d/wa--east-wenatchee/giga-watt/ to register, or email [email protected] for additional questions.

guys still want to sell my tokens, 3000 WTT, they are from the 3rd batch, would prefer to sell as a lot, but if 3 people came togther to take all 3000 I would be open to that too
what price are you looking for, and how are you going to manage transferring tokens?  Did you consult with giga-watt support about this maybe?

There is one thing I'm trying to figure out, someone said he's already renting his tokens, but I don't find the functionality for "hiring" them. Should I transfer some currency to my account to make it possible, or it's not yet implemented ? Can someone upload a screenshot?

I find it strange that the site is giving me the opposite option - to rent my 0 tokens to someone at a reasonable price Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy :

Can someone please explain to me how the $734.55 mining cost of 1 BTC for WTT holders is calculated.

To currently mine 1BTC for 1 day you need 3673TH/s or 272 S9 miners.
For 24 hours they will use 8636.5kW, which is 285USD paying the 0.033USD electricity rate.

So I guess the difference comes from the price you need to pay for the hosting tokens, but how is that calculated?

Cheers

You should account the miners' price as well. 272 s9s cost about 460k.   If we assume miners' lifecycle to be 2,5 years, after which 460k will be lost, which would mean $500 per day (460k/912 days).   285+500 = 785$.

(this is just my assumption)

is WTT token tradable anywhere? why they don't issue all token at the same time?

You can trade WTT on hitbtc as IOU (i owe you)

You can use this link  https://hitbtc.com/?ref_id=598d5d363b32f (with afiliation)  or this one https://hitbtc.com (without afiliation)

Cool, thanks for your info. I see we can buy some asics from the wtt site, a good thing.

Still no news from anybody mining or renting their tokens to a miner ?
Anybody reported on it ?

The pandaminer offer was suppose to start around july 30th ? I have seen on twitter the 1st batch of miners arrived at their facility july 28th.

We are august 11th so I suppose that we should be very close from having the 1st pod up and running ? if it is not already happening...?

It would be great to have some up to date on what's already working and what's going to happen for the next days and weeks.

I am renting my batch 1 tokens as we speak. Easy system and works perfectly so far! My miners will only come next month, so i cannot give you any info on that yet.

Can you elaborate? At what rate are you renting out your tokens? Is there a marketplace where you can choose offers to rent tokens? Is there any contractual time-limit on tokens rented out to miners? TYI.

It works. I also rent out my tokens now.

1. you have your tokens in your GW account and as somebody already described it you switch them to rent
2. by doing so you have to choose a fee you want to have (the ones on the cryptonomos site)
3. then you just press the button "rent out"
4. at first nothing happens, but in the background the system seems to match your tokens with some miners after a time period
5. when the matching is successful your tokens switch from status unused to status rented out
6. you decide the rent period by your switching and you can stop renting at any time
7. you have no possibility to influence which coins you get, because you do not see the matching process. It is fully automatic.
8. coins are credited automatically to you account (in my case Litecoin)
9. I am only mining for two hours now but if I extrapolate the coins then the numbers on the cyrptonomos homepage are correct and in line with the rent calculator

Hello all, I am looking to purchase about 2000 WTT tokens as i had some technical failures in the final day of the ICO and my bank wire transfer sent too late and the ICO ended.

If anyone is looking to let go of this amount let me know please!

Also curious if anyone has bought miners through the gigawatt.sg site yet and can vouch for the sale.

Thanks!

Bought some miners in may; should be delivered at facility mid juli. In the end of juli nothing heard of them so i've sent them an email whats going on?

Got a short reply about a delay at the manufacturer and that they will be on there way within a week... And still no miners or any communication about delivery...

Hoping for the best...

Also curious about people have received their miners?

There's a bug in showing the total balance in giga-watt profit rented.
The total profit balance is showing only the cumulative of last 10 hours earnings.

Did you manage to rent out tokens?
Yes, it's like switching on and off, it's automatic rent out if on.
I wonder how they will work this out. For instance what would happen to the miners thats renting from you & the space are full. Will they shut down the machine & leave it homeless?

Lack of info and options on the website, icons has no tooltips, no info about your token if rented or not, it sucks.

Normally this situation should not happen.
But what if a group of token holders keep their tokens and dont rent them. But why?
I know in the past they can't accept anymore hosting because all space/power were taken. This can happen in the future as well. My example would be for me. I would rent out my tokens until I get my own miners in. So if all space/token/power are all taken/occupied. What would happen to the miner that was on my spot?
