Make sure your computer has the right time. Nobody has reported wallet sync errors, everyone has said they have had no problems getting their wallet to connect! I've tried to set up a p2pool at http://goat.p2p.0x0a.nl:22646 - however, it has not been tested at all. On one hand that's because I can't get goatcoin to start in testnet mode (genesis block not accepted with clean data directory), on the other the difficulty is already too high for my puny hardware to find a block, which (I believe) is what p2pool needs to get started. So far I did get one share accepted, so at least there's that Wink

I'm not sure at all whether it is going to work correctly, but if you feel like pointing your miners towards this experimental pool and don't mind risking time and energy doing so, you're welcome to mine! No registration needed/possible, just point your miner at stratum+tcp://goat.p2p.0x0a.nl:22646 (fee is 0.9%) with your address as username:

UPDATE: Finally figured out I shouldn't be using cudaminer for sha256 (yes, my puny hardware is Nvidia..). Found a lot more shares with bfgminer in minutes, and p2pool looks good now - except still no blocks! At this rate, it will take 2 days before I hit one Embarrassed
