What will happen to any coins that don't get exchanged ? If someone leaves their coins on C-Cex and does not move them to Gorillaex. There is always someone, whenever a swap is done, that does not swap their coins, will they be lost ? Will 10k and Balls be delisted from other exchanges ?
They will be gone forever. The ratio on this swap will be based on how many are turned in, so
nobody will hold any leftover coins; they are all going to be swapped for whatever is traded inWhen is the swap happening and how long will the window be open for us to swap coins? Thanks spots
Soon, and there will be about a 1 week window from announcement to swap for you to move coins. We want to let GorillaEx run for about a week before the deadline to make sure it's working smoothly before we rely on it for the swap
Remember, the UI we launch with is just to be functional. We will pretty it up and add features soon (we've already been discussing providing Merchant Services and Multipool options for all coins listed)
The sheer server power we all have collectively available to us at this point is just insane. The only thing holding us back is actual dev work-hours that need to be put in; our hardware resources are basically unlimited at this point, so expansion will not ever be an issue
That being said, when the time comes, GorillaEx
will have other coins traded against both MMXIV and TEETH. We will have all coins that are supported by GorillaStake, as well as any that I decide to add later on; which coins are added is one of the decisions I will be making along the way for GorillaEx. This is a great 'partnership' between two (or more) completely independent companies operating their services together and allowing seamless integration between them. We don't need to be a part of BTC or DOGE systems; we will build our own and tailor them to our needs. It may go a little slower, but we also have accountability, outside audits, and trusted support teams (that are not anonymous)
The companies involved financially in the exchange are in the UK and Australia, while GorillaStake is a US-Based company.
Just to make it very clear: Nobody from MMXIV, GorillaStake, or I are making anything off of the exchange site. Any funds, fees, or payments done via GorillaEx will be going to our partner companies in the UK and AUS. We are, as a neutral third party, offering auditing services to ensure the site stays solvent and customer funds are secure, as well as guidance and direction on the business, website, practices, and procedures. All of this is being done for free; all the fees and any other funds will not directly benefit GorillaStake in any way. The exchange and the staking cloud are two completely different companies, working together towards seamless integration.
Any answers you get from me via support tickets are being tended to by a completely wage-free volunteerhttp://www.gorillastake.com/media.html has been updated with all the information posted so far, other than coin specs, which I leaked a little in the now locked thread last night
