I would suggest to delete everything but your wallet.dat file and re install. The wallet is working fine for other people Im assuming.

What is now correct.

It would appear that it is written that it stakes right away

The PoW phase ends @ block 100 000 the coin will be only PoS after that.

I like your idea. We can consider this. I would tend to think that the price would be higer if the premine was locked away and the threat of that massive of a dump lessened. It is some security for the project and so long as bits and pieces of the funds can be released to go towards aspects of the project it would be great.

Thats right if your not making alot of money it may as well be going towards a GPU

The net hash was up @ 30 000 mhash this morning shortly after launch. Its exciting to see it come down to 15 000 so more small guys can get in and have a crack at some coins to upgrade their mining rig. It doesn't benefit anyone to throw your super 500 mhash + asic at it !!!
