ahh gotchya, ok one more question currently I am on my laptop that I use for the server with the wallet running on it, and I get the solo running on it first with no problem now but when I try to get my main machine running through the server I cant get it to connect like normal, I get the same error as befor on that one, I have tried both diff ports but still cant connect with that machine, I d/l the wallet on there and set it up as its own server and it is working but thats not really how I like to run them. on local machin I run with http:127.0.0.1:42953 and it works fine and on my other machin normally I would run with http:192.168.1.111:42953 to connect to my server wallet on my laptop only its not working with this coin, am I missing something else??

No problem! The #42953 only applies to "local" connections.

I see, with the bat file you are connecting to your own RPC on the local pc? Try port #42953

yes but im not trying to mine with my cpu which is what the wallet does right?!? I normally GPU min scrypt coins like this with no problem

If you take the "standard" example config here and use this (instead of your current config):

server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
maxconnections=1000
rpcuser=USER
rpcpassword=PASSWORD
rpcallowip=*
addnode=seed.guncoin.info
addnode=seed2.guncoin.info
addnode=seed3.guncoin.info

... You should be able to start up the wallet and goto HELP < DEBUG WINDOW and open the CONSOLE tab...

The type: setgenerate true

This should begin the solo mining. Please let me know if this works for you.

So ive been trying to get solo mining up and running for a few days now and I just cant figgure out y it wont let me.

I have the newest wallet
-server set on a shortcut

appdatta conf file =

listen=1
maxconnections=1000
rpcuser=USERNAME

rpcallowip=192.168.1.111

Bat file =

C:\Users\Droopy\Downloads\guiminer-scrypt\cgminer\cgminer.exe" --scrypt -u USERNAME -p PASS -o http://127.0.0.1:42954 --gpu-platform 0 -d 0 -w 128 -v 1 -I 14 -g 1 -l 1 --thread-concurrency 6144

I can take this same conf file and change the rpc port for another coin and change port in bat file and it works just fine for other coins but when I launch it for gun coin I get a pool 0 slow/down or url or credentials invalid.

I just dont understand it, everything works great for other coins but not this one..... I know im probly missing something simple any help will be appreciated
