I like to think that GUN has the possibility to corner a niche market in regard to firearm and firearm accessory sales sometime in the future.
Someday there may be a crypto for just about anything in particular and this one has chosen it's place.
It is also pretty awesome that it is still in it's initial block reward and just about anybody with a video card can mine it.
I like guns, I like crypto, I like doing what I want, especially if it isn't hurting anyone.

I am one of the dev team, so a dev did answer you back.
Also, if you read back a page or so (yes, I know that a longer attention span requirement can be difficult to do for some people to deal with), you'll see that all of us that are running this coin have full-time-plus jobs, and lives, so time to be spent on this is limited. Yes, I wish it was more, but it is what it is.
FYI, WinXP, is still running on around 20% of the computers worldwide. It is a requirement to consider that people might still be running it while dealing with crypto-currency. If you were a coin developer instead of somebody trolling with a 2-week old account, you'd understand.

Just to keep everyone updated, the new wallets are almost done.. (YAY!!)
I'm at the coder's house (in another country) for the weekend, and we're testing it out and going over the source for the android wallet. (along with golfing and liver punishing)
The upgraded windows wallet will be released this week, with GPU solo mining fixed, and adding in QR codes.
What will not be added this release, is the sponsorship and dev fees... (I can hear you cheering) ...as it will require a fork to implement, so it will be implemented in a future release.
The android wallet won't be far behind, and will have the added option of using either the original Guncoin logo and color scheme, or the logo created by user ar15. (the logo choice will put into the next release of the win wallet as well)
The linux wallet will be out around the same time as the android wallet.

Actually, to add to that, in the early stages of Guncoin public acceptance and usage, do not expect for large purchases to be able to be made with it. (as an example, bitcoin was used for pizza before it was used for cars and condo's) Expect for early stage usage to be for inexpensive stuff like club memberships and accessories.
After more widespread acceptance, as the value climbs, there should then be acceptance for larger purchases.
Agreed. While GUN is over a year old now and is traded on multiple exchanges and mined in as many more, the usage at this point is low, but appears to be growing. Most folks are looking to see the coins that hang around and do not disappear. GUN will be one of those, when many of the others are long gone. The more visibility that we can get the better. Appreciate your support!
