Alright, so last night after I surged the network with ~15mhash to try and balance the load to other pools dedicatedpools managed to still hold 60-65~% of the total network. As a result they are more or less in charge of the block chain. Which is why wallets are getting stuck. The issue is not with the source code in the  wallet.

The newest patch looks toward dedicated pools when syncing wallets. Hopefully the network can even out in the next few days.

So who controls the pool(s)? If there is a problem with one or them, which is casuing this massive issue for countless people, then shut them down. Yes I said it: Shut them down until they can fix whatever it is that causes the issue. If a pools blockchain is the issue, then we are going to be patching and patching and patching until they fix their issues. That is unacceptable. People are already frustrated enough. If the issue can't be fixed, those who left will not be back

Due to very unstable coin and oft-recurring forks H2OCoin was disabled on DwarfPool.

Today we had 3(!!!) different forks on 4 servers, every with many connections!

Can anyone confirm this coin has forked? Not looking too good if that's true.. :/

Not dead, dedicatepool has 60% of the network, so I need to have a fix for it. This is why I was asking for hashrate to be spread out. I'll having something out in a jiffy.

This is why we choose DGW and NOT KGW

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.6016831

KGW will come to show a lot more issues.  Cheesy

All coins that use KGW should upgrade to a different difficulty adjustment algorithm or update their KGW.

The only thing that was affected by the bug were windows wallets. If you are hosting a pool on a windows server well then that is just silly. Regardless if you had applied the newest patch as direct you would have been all set.

I NEWER use windows, only linux. And I always compile my daemons from source code.

So, your bug is much wider than you think.

Your pool is the only one that is "having a problem". Though I don't even believe it is. All I ask is if you do have an issue, hop on over to IRC and let the community work with you to fix it. I've never even heard of your pool until you said you were closing it down, I've been in IRC more or less all day since launch. If there is a problem, don't sit back and play the victim card. Be proactive, work with us to get to the solution so we can all get back to mining.

It was forked or stuck for me too, on Debian 7 64bit. I deleted everything and started with the nodes from OP. It got stuck on block 32xx and had 7 connections. Nothing happened for 30 minutes so I added dedicatedpool.com as a node and it quickly synced.
