Wallet started to work as expected since this:

I have finished and started it again several times since then and always the blockchain syncs normally.
If I keep the Debug/Information window opened I can see the blockchain "moving" towards next blocks. Also, is always synced with dedicatedpool.

I'm actually glad there's this "temporary" fix.
That could be the final fix.

The time will show. One more day, if everything goes as we expect, there will be a new wallet with a new checkpoint

Did you close your wallet when you replaced the blockchain?

Absolutely.

Do the following:

Take wallet.dat on your desktop, delete all the content, including H2OCoin.conf and go into your wallet folder.

1) Run setup
2) When it's done, don't do nothing. Just close the window,
3) Keep wallet closed, replace the wallet.dat with the one from your desktop and put it in your APPDATA folder ( Find H2OCoin folder )

There are only two sell orders and no buy orders at the moments but it's early days. The allcrypt exchange looks a nice professionally designed exchange and it has a massive range of coins listed. It's good to have plenty of alternative exchanges trading H2O, the more exchanges the better.

Yup so far that did the trick...immediately too. I guess keeping wallet open for now it is.

And with that said and keeping the wallet open, so far I have been receiving blocks and have received a payment. Not sure how long this will keep up though.

If you keep your wallet long enough to work, it doesn't get stuck
