A very short but nice video on the SSOT Healthcare project where blockchain will be introduced into this huge industry.

Check out the link @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=a6kMLb8kEaE

Haha it's very short, but it's a nice testimony from a doctor that will be using the SSOT Health platform, it will be very useful for doctors to have all the medical history of their patients in one place.
If you go on this channel they have a couple of more video's including a 2 minute video explaining about the whole project try to watch it https://youtu.be/UWtQvtB_OSE.

This is a way better video than the one shared earlier, it actually gets into the nitty-gritty of the SSOT Health project and explains the full details and the services they will provide.

Clear video and very detailed... I support your assertion, this should be promoted more than the earlier one

SSOT Blockchain technology is a team of new breed of designers, architects, developers and project managers with more than 210 years of collective experience in cutting-edge industries.

Wow.. 210 years collctive experience, how is this calculated by total number of collective team experiences or how. The team must be big then.

I understand that SSOT project is about health/medicine but what i don't seem to understand is the relationship it has got to do with Insurance company  Huh is it like the patient is insured by SSOT and their is a separate smart contract for that as seen here https://www.ssothealth.org/solutions  Huh

To my knowledge its basically allowing for a secure method and traceable healthcare for your claims. In the end how do you know what claims your doctor are sending to insurance on your behalf? Insurance fraud is pretty huge, by moving that to a public blickchain and ledger it means you can whenever you want view all your issues, historal claims etc, and your basically in charge of your medical records. I don't know about where you live but i honestly have never seen my medical record, my doctor has it in a cabinet but i don't really get to see it, i can fill out a claim for insurance but basically the only way they know it was me is a signature, technically he could forge my signature and claim whatever he wanted against my insurance as if he treated me.

This is quite insightful, thanks for this write up, however we operate such system as you where I live too.. We have the doctor take our records and we know next to nothing after that, I actually got a hang of it and quite agree with you for a need of a transparent system where payments can be verified

Hospitals hardly give us indoor case paper or detailed analysis reports. Many times we dont even know what type of medicine they used. So SSOT taking good initiative, because of this platform many issues can be solved.

Exactly, this is like a project that helps checkmate some certain issues that do go wrong, it gives individuals the ability to determine what happens when it comes to his/her health, you have total control and you don't need to pass some kinda protocol before you can access your right

I'm not sure, but I think that the relationship between healthcare and insurance company, are the medical patient data. For example, an insurance company may refuse patients on the basis of their medical data or raise the insurance premium.

This field is always complicated. I am still struggling to understand this relationship but I could not figure it out completely. May be blockchain could solve that distance issue to certain extent between insurance companies and hospital and patients? We have to wait and see.

Medical data security is what its all about, valid and secure data with proper visibility from all parts including the patient is one of the most important things and its something thats quite obscure in modern medical care, especially outside of first wourld countries, in my experience.

This will be a complicated matter: do I want my insurance to get all my data and maybe pay more for the insurance?
On the other hand, if I live well and you can see that in my data, maybe I will pay less.
But that should not happen, that my insurance company refuses me only because I suddenly became seriously ill

That will not happen in Austria and most of the European countries. But from what I heard it is quiet normal in the US.

Insurance companies shouldn't be able to get these personalized health data. In fact only doctors should be able to access it and only when the patient agrees.
Yes but what if the insurance company knows what kind of insurance you need so they can give you it a lot cheaper that would be nice to have with special medical help.

SSOT health has three aspects; Secured Pharma, Secured EMR, Secured claims. Some of the features of secured Pharma includes

Keeping all personal medical records up to date.

Integrated with any medical system operates on Blockchain.

Authorization by the users discretion.

Granularity of the access level are defined by the patients.

Blockchain enabled SSOT-ID creates SecuredPHR user accounts.

You can check out their website for other other features.

Is there any plan by SSOT team to develop medical products/machines/robots which will be so advance from what we have available today?
