Can anyone confirm that the HEAT tokens purchased on CCEX are safe. i.e. If CCEX was to fail, the tokens are separate and safe?

We've got the preliminary number for the distribution multiplier:
Number of HEAT coins per stake = 1.45 x stake
Numbers based on stuff like this:
All those HEAT holdings now traded on exchanges will be multiplied by approx. 1.45, after which 1 token is equal to 1 HEAT.

There's HEAT slack on Supernet https://sprnt.slack.com/messages/heat/team/heatledger/ however I'm rather a n00b on that area and not able to provide "user support" on how to join it etc. Only able to write there occasionally, we'll have to get someone to take care of that until we get the HEAT forum online.
Still spinning the numbers for a good while.

Congrats, that is a nice amount that you got there. Just make sure to put all your efforts into furthering development not to attending a bunch of conferences because from experience with another coin, that doesn't work

For now I am very excited to read a new article by Roger Aitken on Forbes. His last article (http://www.forbes.com/sites/rogeraitken/2016/07/10/decentralized-exchange-turns-up-heat-with-blockchain-start-up-support/#49506f544baa) had brought me some light. Guess when it comes to IPO there will be lot of public interest on heat ledger. Will be go down to the wire who is making the race, overhyped and big whale funded waves or guarded but ambitious and on high grade business focusing 3.0 heat ledger.

How are their coins there and should their price reflect the last stage of entry or the new figure of 25 million divided by the total BTC taken in?
I think is about 0.000065 BTC x 25000000 = 1625btc

What do you do now to hedge that?
To ensure company is funded properly this time we go the oldschool way and take most of it out in EUR. 2 years ago we didn't, and lost 60% of funds.hey one question devs, what do you guys do with the unsold tokens? burn em?

I think we have to define a heat token and now heat coin.
Now we know the amount into the ICO ( $957,400 or 1632 BTC ) and the 25,000,000 HEAT coins the average value is known.
SO be careful not to overpay.
We are getting a lot more heat coins for our BTC becasue the ICO was not completely full filled.

So the tokens that are currently traded on Alcurex and C-cex are the real Heat tokens? The rest of the tokens are to be released some time in september? Do you know how many of the 25 mil tokens are now tradable on exchanges?

Yes great idea better to play safe and put it all into use.
I have a feeling the boat is about to get rocked.
Maybe 1/2 USD and 1/2 EUR would be a better hedge.
I think there is also a slack channel set up but not functional yet.

Why is OpenLedger such a confusion? I hope HEAT has all the possible functionality as bitshares but able to be
1st non confusing and so understood
2nd usable easily and so to be actually a place to trade.
3rd non confusing
4th easy to understand
I go to openledger willing to try but look over all the confusing options then decide forget it.
If it was clear and easy to see how to use it... then i may be bothered.
1 - to open an account
2 - buy BTS
3 - figure out what BTS is to HEAT is to BTC is to $$
but i surrender.
It needs clarity.
