Eliphaz Fimk: could you please check if you have redeemed the 0.179btc at height=119277?
Thanks for that investigation. Upon full rescan of the blockchain we found that particular asset transfer had remained hidden, having skipped replicator entry completely on our nodes in one of the nasty forks of the past weeks and thus escaping processing. It's now been taken care of and paid to the Bitcoin address supplied in the attached message of the asset transfer transaction.

Ty for explaining , in that case how can we be certain that an asset is legit or not ?

"Legit" is a relative attribute. In free markets legitimacy is defined by trust. In the Decentralized HEAT Asset Exchange, to ascertain legitimacy to a reasonable degree, you'd be good with either:

- "Certified" green tag in asset info (wasn't available in early phases) which means Heat Ledger Ltd or its approved partners have issued the asset. If you trust Heat Ledger Ltd to back up the asset, you can trust assets having this tag.

OR:

Knowledge about the issuer of the uncertified asset, the asset's function, its trustworthiness, issuer's reputation, or conclusions of the details provided by asset issuer when you click on the More info button. The NXT AE and Openledger are based on this mechanism so it really isn't such a big deal, but I agree providing the central authority certification (as well as operation of the main cryptocurrency gateways) is a really nice extra and helps a lot in usability. It's one of HEAT's Unique Selling Points when we begin to roll out the Asset Exchange in larger scale for the numerous different parties of interest in the cryptocurrency and decentralized asset sphere.

In the example image the HEAT asset (coin) is certified by Heat Ledger Ltd, whereas the GNT token is not certified, not vouched for, and largely unknown to Heat Ledger Ltd. Trade such pair at your own risk and due diligence.

Now I only need my 0.17btc back and I can finally move on....
We need you to confirm your HEAT account number used for this transaction so the issue can be investigated and possibly resolved. If you can't provide your HEAT account number, we can't help you.

PM or email to support at heatledger dot com works fine.

Ebay at least gives you the chance to open a dispute and in case you are right you can get your money back
Ebay is centralized and is responsible for the money you use through their service. HEAT Asset Exchange is decentralized and Heat Ledger Ltd doesn't control the money or tokens you use through the service, except in special cases such as the inhouse BTC gateway. In peer-to-peer services you're responsible for your tokens and their usage, not the party who has created the infrastructure for these services. "Refunds", "chargebacks", "payment reversals" etc. are concepts that generally don't apply to decentralized services such as HEAT Asset Exchange, NXT Asset Exchange, or Bitcoin for example.

Give me my money back!
Hi deadlock1, you should ask the asset creator to give you your money back, not heatledger. This is like buying a faulty product on ebay, then blaming ebay afterwards.

Ebay at least gives you the chance to open a dispute and in case you are right you can get your money back . This is the second time this thing happens , isn't there a way to keep fraudsters out of HEAT ? For example , for creation of an asset you have to deposit a collateral in btc ( not sure if this can be done , just a thought ) .

No cooperation between HEAT and Komodo!

This dirty fraudster hole is not adequate to cooperate with serious cryptos.

Will stop this!

you have a happy life if this was ur worst trade ever.

I disagree, the worst trade was when he bought heat with probably btc... THAT was his worst trade ever and mine too!

HAHAHAA this makes me laugh so hard! You know they have the ability to just delete markets but till now they did not delete any market. I mean I have created the HEAT/SHIT market and it is still there. I didn't sell any coins obviously because I don't scam people. But the heat assholes don't care about any of that. They just don't give a shit! The heat assholes also scammed me of 0.17BTC on their own HEAT/BTC exchange. They just say the 0.17BTC are gone! HEAT IS A SCAM! It is such a shame man, these guys raised over 600k$ which is now probably a million (they don't disclose how much they have or what they do with the money) and they don't refund you a few bucks and they even rip me off and steal my 0.17BTC! What a disgrace!

Any idea from devs when wallet version with forging working will be released?
Forging is currently working, it is the rewards which are turned off. You can see all the active forging nodes here: https://heatbrowser.com/report.html

Does that include the wallet version, or just server version?
You can do the following:
1. Download heatwallet 1.0.13 here: https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatwallet/releases
2. Unzip heatwallet
3. Delete folder resources/heatledger
4. Download heatledger 0.9.21 here: https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatledger/releases
5. Unzip heatledger-0.9.21, and move folder to resources/heatledger in the wallet directory (in linux the folder is: linux-unpacked)

After that, start the wallet, start App Server, wait for blockchain to sync, then activate forging.

Thanks, following your advice I finally am able to sync!

When I click the 'start mining' button nothing happens though, how can I tell if I'm forging? Using windows.

Agreed. Remove all non certified assets and trolls will have one less bullet to fud heat...

the HEAT team created 100 million komodo(KMD) as an "asset".
That of course is not true. Random HEAT user created an asset called "KMD" (which, when I questioned him, he told he would be selling to supposedly "operators of the blockchain"). Anyone has been able to create any asset, called anything not claimed previously, on the Decentralized HEAT Asset Exchange since it was opened. After the early phases we've added certification features to clearly indicate which assets are house backed or otherwise certified, and those that are not maybe would be wise to use more stringent due diligence before getting involved with. In decentralized asset exchanges, such DD is mandatory. HEAT's certification feature adds an useful layer on top of that. I'm not aware NXT's extensively used Decentralized Asset Exchange for instance has anything like that.

We've been personally in touch about further co-operation with jl777 since the large Supernet ICO investment and will have to see where this goes when HEAT is stable. The Komodo promotion in this thread seems to be somewhat overlapping with our existing arrangements, but we'll be looking whether that notarization possibility is relevant to HEAT.

Better to delete all assets other than heat certified at present - they are a waste of space and confusing.

Better for heat to issue the main alt coins such as poloniex offers. and fiat assets..

This was not clear at the moment I bought!!! You added it later! So I thought it was house backed by you and not to mark it clearly is your guilt!

The amount of people on bitcointalk that dont understand the meaning of the word decentralized is astonishing.
